I am against abortion at any age, but I am also against forcing a woman to bear a child if she does not want to do so.
For me, as a man, the idea of the pain and torture of childbirth is something I’m glad I don’t have to go through. Do I thank God for making me a man and not a woman? Of course not. Both are needed in His eyes.
I’d really like to know what God—and not some human interpreting God for me—says about this issue. I only know that I do not know.
I had 4 babies with no pain medication in the span of 5 years and 8 months, just like women have done throughout the ages.
It never entered my mind to call it torture. It was life's greatest blessing
It’s a human life so I imagine God is against it. It’s actually one of the Ten Commandments, which means He has already ruled on it.
For me, as a man, the idea of the pain and torture of childbirth is something I’m glad I don’t have to go through.
Getting kicked in the nuts is worse. When a woman has a baby, a year or two later she very commonly says she would like to go through it again, and then maybe again. But you’ll never hear a man say he’s ready for another kick in nuts.
Never...
Women aren’t in constant pain or torture throughout their pregnancy. Some even have easy labor. My friend did with her first baby. The second baby was less cooperative but made it safely into the world after a tussle with the umbilical cord around her neck during birth.
As to what God thinks about all this, you might find the answer to your question in a list of verses from His Word at:

Among other verses:
And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: (Luke 1:41) For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. (Luke 1:44)
The word for "babe" in the Greek (brephos: G1025 ) is the same word as is translated infants, child etc.

Good heavens, it wasn’t torture. Get a grip. And nowadays women are given epidural, my daughter barely felt a thing.
