Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie said the House GOP’s struggle to elect a Speaker is “an embarrassment to the party.”
The House has gone three weeks without a Speaker after eight Republicans joined with Democrats to vote out Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). Since then, the GOP has been unable to unify around a single candidate. Democrats have remain unified around their leader, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.).
“We’ve gotten through two nominees of the party since Kevin McCarthy, it’s an embarrassment,” Christie said in an interview MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle. “It’s an embarrassment to the party and to the country. And my view is just pick somebody now.”

Cristie woudl only be happy if they turned it over to the Democrats and all the Republicans voted the way they were told.
Personally I am only concerned abut Congress when things run too smooth which means there is no opposition (sort of like the California assembly).
You have to admit, on this ONE INSTANCE, Fat Boy is right. But then again EVERY GOPe and RINO is an embarrassment.

Christie is right about one part of the escapade, but it’s his thoughts that are the problem. Here is a guy that has been in politics probably for most of his life and he fails to see the progress being accomplished. And the liberal party is trying to reverse the progress and embarrass to weaken the position in the press.
Christie says ; “And my view is just pick somebody now.”
And that’s why he fails. Would he just pick somebody now to do surgery on him? Would he just pick someone now to adjust the brakes on his car? Would he just pick somebody now to babysit his kids? I would hope not. Those actions would not be the intelligent move. So to pick “somebody” now to lead the group voted in office to control our tax dollars and determine war for this country thus risking the lives of thousands, possibly millions, and they should just pick somebody? I can say dam fool. He can be one.

Compromise is the cost of having an elected government. It’s ugly and nobody likes the result. The alternative is the lockstep Democrat drones who answer to some unelected elite.
