NATO reaffirms its long-term support for Ukraine and says its members all agree the nation will join the alliance, but not while the war is ongoing, and not before it has reformed.
The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg again spoke of NATO membership for Ukraine as a definite matter — despite previous dissent from within the alliance — as he spoke of a forthcoming meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council this week.
“Allies agree that Ukraine will become a member of NATO”, Stoltenberg said as he said discussions this week would focus on “priority reforms” for the country to make it fit to join the organisation. Recent direct support for Ukraine cited by the Norwegian politician turned alliance leader included the air defence coalition, billions in new funding, and the opening of the F-16 training centre in Romania for Ukrainian pilots.

So NATO let Ukraine get their asses handed to them because Russia was rightfully concerned Ukraine would become a NATO ally.
And now NATO says to the Ukes; “Sure, come on in!”
So I guess the war is not going to end.
If that isn’t a call for Russia to completely obliterate ukraine, I don’t know what would be.

I’m pretty sure that Russia hears stuff like this and thinks, “We will not negotiate but instead we will definitely push the war to it’s natural conclusion and absorb Ukraine back into the Greater Russian Empire.”
They don’t want NATO on their doorstep.
Is this some sick joke? NATO is the reason why Ukraine is in a bloody war with Russia in the first place.
Dismantle NATO. The U.S. needs to get out of both NATO and the United Nations, period.

I’m ok with this. Currently the Ukraine is about 70% of the country it was, with some 15 million less people. The farmland and mineral wealth that was once a part of the country is now part of Russia. With access to the sea dependent on the good will of Moscow, NATO will be welcoming an economic basket case, filled with an aging population of non workers. So yeah, do it.
I don’t know why the membership is still lying to Ukraine.
And I can’t figure out why Ukraine keeps believing them.
I don't care if the Euros keep NATO, but yes, the U.S. needs to concentrate on restoring the Republic. And negotiate tit-for-tat unilateral trade agreements.

This will just encourage Russia to keep on fighting and occupying even more territory than they currently control. What the hell is wrong with these idiots?
If NATO allows Ukraine to join NATO and puts themselves and the US on Russia’s borders, the US won’t have to blow up Russia’s pipelines. Russia will save them the trouble and blow them up themselves rather than heat the homes of their provocateurs. No way Germany is supporting this insanity
