For nearly a month, COVID-19 hospitalizations have been increasing following weeks of decline and relatively low levels throughout the summer, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
As of Nov. 25, there were 19,444 weekly hospitalizations due to the virus compared to 15,006 four weeks earlier, data shows.
While this marks an increase of 29.6%, it is lower than the 150,650 weekly hospitalizations at the peak of the omicron wave during the 2021-22 season.
Rates of COVID hospitalizations remain elevated among senior citizens, middle-aged adults and children under age 4, meaning the virus is affecting both the oldest and youngest Americans.

Look at what they’re doing! Notice there aren’t DEATHS being talked about, just people being diagnosed with it. I had it about a month ago. The dry cough was annoying, but past that? No big deal.

Everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - I know has become infected with a bug which is best described as a “24-hour flu”: Fever, some discomfort, chest congestion in 1-out-of-10.
Aside from a few missed days at work, NOBODY has been hospitalized and NOBODY knows anyone who has been hospitalized.
Of course, of those who have taken the ‘test’ most have tested positive; the rest are presumed.

Unfortunately, it’s also the only cold for which there’s a test to freak out the weak minded...
(Full disclosure: Though I never took a day for illness, there was one day for which I felt a bit ‘off’. I credit my natural immunity. As well, nearly all of those who tested positive received the jab; those who didn’t test didn’t have the jab. That’s a ‘tell’.)

The data on Worldometer - based on reports from government agencies - does not support the claims made in this article. New cases are running about half of what they were in September, and deaths are down by about 35-40%
