Gutfeld! notably does not have Writer's Guild of America members on its team, so it continued airing through the union's strike, which lasted some 144 days. All the other programs in the top four were affected because they hired WGA writers.
Sarcasm and humiliation are among of our finer weapons.
One of those two comedians was actually funny - that’s a good start.
Are his jokes still 50% homosexual and poop? That’s the reason I stopped watching his show.
Kimmel and Colbert have lousy writers and their delivery and ad-lib lines just don’t come close to entertainment. Kimmel is a pornographer, for sure.
One look and you are gone. Only the faithful kool aid folks stay tuned....
Colbert was modestly funny for a while. Then in 2016 every joke was about Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders. It got old very quickly.
You’re right. Nick Marx and Matt Sienkiewic don’t get it.
Joyful laughter is being destroyed. It is replaced with snark.
Nothing could be more different than today, where all liberals do is punch down, in media and in comedy.
Hallelujah! I started watching ‘Red Eye,’ then it was cancelled. One day, I saw a commercial for a show with Gutfeld - ‘The Five.’ Been watching ever since. At least once, it was #1 ranked, & it is highly watched. Check my user id, cuz I posted an initial Gutfeld! segment on my user id, about how highly rated the show is. I posted another show segment, but I messed up HTML, and it didn’t post.
Very true.
The best comedians left you wondering what they voted for. Johnny Carson for example.
They do seem to get a lot of what’s going on.
They just don’t like it.
Creativity, imagination and intelligence=good comedy.
Creativity, imagination and intelligence/=conform or else totalitarianism.
Modern leftists destroyed comedy are not funny in the slightest and can’t meme worth a hoot..
I saw someone (I can’t remember who) recently commenting that the left only does material that makes people in political agreement with them clap but not really laugh. IMO, that ‘s not comedic.
He has been doing less of that...but I hear ya
It was not until Gutfield I cared for any late night programs. So never watched them. But Gutfield and his co-hosts are all so funny, with varied personalities, it's just great “entertainment” and enjoyable presentation.
That is so on the money.
Red eye was a very good show, I got to see some of Greg’s best work and his companion guests were good too.
I particularly like how Andy Levy performed a critique at the half way mark, and I was glad to be introduced to Mike Baker.
I knew that Greg was destined for greater things, and (note too) that I went to Cal, grew to love teaching at San Mateo High, (Greg went to the Catholic school in San Mateo — Serra.) We have the same birthday. I feel like I am in some kind of simulation about this talanted guy.
