Not at all but it appears that we are operating under a premise that fed.gov can do no wrong and they are infallible.

The founders had a little something to say about that.

Remember, this is not just rhetoric and flowery BS, these folks went toe-to-toe with the uniformed British troops that were the top authority in the Colonies, THEN they wrote the constitution.

Their reasoning is known world-wide.

That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Everything, EVERYTHING hangs on that one sentence.

The "consent of the governed" is almost gone from the current administration and "any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends" seems to be a constant for the communist party "democrats."

They (the communists) have infested every branch of government and roughly half of the weak-knee Republicans.

There are only a handful of politicians left standing on "the shining city upon a hill," the rest are in the pit of homo-hell yelling that the world must obey them.

If you believe they can be salvaged have at it.

No one wants a redo of the Civil War so session is the way to go.

When that happens, either through an orderly release of power from the progs to the normals or a protracted war of neighbor against neighbor, the orderly release is of course preferable.

Do I think the communist democrats have the brains to figure that out?

NO

What will eventually happen?

Something in the middle of the two opposites.

Eventually the neo-communists will have choked the life out of everything around them and any nation that is stupid enough to align with them.

At that point a large portion of the military will have all resources depleted (process currently running) and unable (unwilling?) to effect any sort of authority either from themselves or from the increasingly bizarre "rules" proclaimed by the communists bureaus bloating D.C. and harrassing American Citizens while kissing illegal alien's butts.

The activity by the current and future democrat administrations will be totally in-your-face dictatorship operating on residual recognition of authority, but reality will be they could not mount a campaign to physically enforce anything.

The designated loser party will do nothing outside of a few mouse-squeaks so as to not endanger their cushy jobs, fat paychecks and insider trading information.

At that point the process of any State leaving will probably be notifications to other nations and the recognition of the Republic of Texas (or whatever State) as an independent nation.

The constitution is not irrelevant to any of us who are interested in keeping the liberty that it has guaranteed for 247 years-and Texas was a Republic that became part of the US nearly 200 years ago to keep those liberties as part of a bigger setting-safety in numbers. That is why we are not going to put up with all that being shat on and put in the toilet like it is right now. No one in their right mind thinks that any of the gone-rogue democrats are paying any attention to our constitution, or that they plan to unless they are deprived of a few of the states that they treat like collections of chattel that are just a giant piggy bank to fund fed corruption-ahora, Texas dice basta. We have never been fond or tolerant of tyrants-from Spain, Mexico or anywhere in the last 200+ years, so why should we do that now? Do you live here?

Thank you for the concise, clear summary that makes sense. So many here are still saying oh, no-you can’t do that-you didn’t say mother, may I, pretty please, etc-as if that would make things all better. I don’t think most of those people live here-or if they do, they are recent refugees from some blue state and haven’t developed the come-and-take-it Texas spirit that natives have yet. I’ve displayed the come-and-take-it battle flag on my gate beside the Texas flag for several weeks, and it will remain there for the time being...

I don’t live in Texas but I’d damn sure be securing the Border if I was Abbott by any means possible and then I’d take up arms and request all Texans do and invite support from other states against anyone from the federal government trying to stop me. That would get shxt done.

Thanks for your service as well, I just don’t see secession going anywhere.

Abolishing the current federal government and starting over using the Constitution AS WRITTEN won’t happen at the ballot box. It WILL be an armed conflict.

Abbott just gave all cops the authority to detain, arrest and set for deportation any mojado they find. An of course the FJB lackeys are already filing suit-but the arrests are not going to stop-like I said in my other post-ahora, Texas dice basta. That train has left the station, and I think it is just the first-more will follow. I would hope it does not come to that-but I think we will soon have two countries in the US, made up of states that secede/leave and those that do not-we are just about past peaceful coexistence, no thanks to FJB-the inflation that we can’t work enough hours to overcome, the attacks on personal liberty/religion, the scamdemic lies, etc-it is all too much for sane people to allow any more.

I’m reading “Created Equal-Clarence Thomas, In His Own Words” He points out all that I mentioned and more-why affirmative action is just a newer form of segregation and racism, the trashing of the constitution, etc-Justice Thomas’ writings are an inspiration to anyone who believes in the constitution, God-given rights, natural law, etc...

We’ll see where the push back is from the federal government on the detain, arrest and set for deportation. Abbott’s fencing hasn’t worked. You get enough Texans (and other states) on the border to shut it down it may work.

Personally I think a 200 yards of mine fields and a set of bleachers with betting booths would be far better. Maybe some sniper towers as well for the larger bets. ;->

Country has already gone to hell and I don’t think anyone can stop the spiral unless the current government and institutions are replaced.

I’m in a self sufficient location and fairly safe. My family and friends say they’re coming here when the SHTF so to speak.

I’ll believe TX is serious when it gets its budgetary house in order.

I think Texas moving all of its gold reserves back into the state was a good move.

Never happens...they’d still need approval by both houses of Congress and 3/4 of the states. Not seeing that.

If Texas decides to secede, I doubt they will be seeking permission from the fed.

There won't be much of the US left to fight. They ran thousands out of the military for not taking the jab, and the state with the second most members in the US military is Texas. Not to mention, that the overwhelming majority of people in the military are southerners.
