I don't know. But, there are already a bunch of RINOs in the Texas congress fighting against it.

fed.gov and all progs will panic when they see their little scheme of a blue Texas walk out the back door.
They will proclaim that Texas is not allowed to secede.
Texas will say “We are not asking permission.”

If Texas secedes, then they cannot vote in federal elections. No electoral votes for Trump or any future Republican Presidential candidates. No Republican Senators or Representatives in Congress.
At least there’s one sensible state.

The entire SE region, Midwest and mountain states should unite and do the same. Of course, Colorado wouldn’t but I think the liberals there would feel the pressure and start to head back to California or wherever they came from.
