During an appearance on this week’s broadcast of FNC’s “MediaBuzz,” Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) proclaimed her pro-life stance. However, she reiterated her criticism of Republicans and how they are handling abortion.
“You have taken a lot of heat, especially from the right, for saying Republicans have to change the way that they talk about abortion,” FNC host Howard Kurtz said.
“Absolutely, absolutely, and we are losing the fight on abortion every single day. We all know that being pro-life, and I’m pro-life, is the compassionate way forward, is the compassionate policy. But we’re losing the fight because we’re not being compassionate to women. We are throwing it back in their face. You look at the Texas ruling. That is a very emotional ruling. Most women, the vast majority, agree with the woman whose baby had Trisomy 18. That she should have the option to make a decision, not the state, not bureaucrats on a panel in Texas to decide what to do that’s a very intimate and very painful decision for women.”

It is still weighing two lives at that point (and other medical conditions that are similar). That's really for the individual family to decide at that point. I've known a family where the mother had a good opportunity for survival, but decided to give her baby life instead.

The sexual genie is out of the bottle. Birth control should be over the counter, plan B should be as well and the chemical plan C two pill sequence should also be not over the counter but a telehealth FedEx next day away up till week 10. These three things will stop 3/4 of clinical post week 10 abortions. I really think a large number of people have no contact on the regular with the youth so they incorrectly assume they share the same moral grounding, similar religious beliefs and similar patriotic values. Nothing could be further from the truth. 30 and under is almost universally nonreligious or “spiritual”
Trump is right as usual if the country is more important we need a number of weeks compromise and move on to the real work of. Securing our borders, deporting the invaders, bring the fedgov back to its constitutional limits, reduce the debt to payable levels, and tell the greens we are not giving up fossil fuels. Compromise and take the single issue voters who are Legion on abortion out of the picture. If the youth stay home GenX and boomers can still win elections by numbers we cannot if the majority of the 35 and under show up we are out numbered nearly two to one in demographics.
You are right. But I must ponder. Why stop at abortion for some? Surely infanticide is justified for those classified as feral spawn.

If the couple is trying to have the child they would absolutely ask to have the C section done then neonatal ICU. My point was the default after 20 weeks should be C section and neonatal intensive care. Since it’s possible to save both in that case. If the mom didn’t want the child then sealed adoption no harm no foul.
Most myself included acknowledge that 12 to 15 weeks is where the bulk of voters are going to be at. Throwing our country away for an at most 20% hard line religious right zero tolerance on abortion is foolish. I’m home for the holidays in deep red rural central Texas there are 25 of us at the property all fiscal conservatives and all the males are veterans. Only two of that 25 are zero tolerance on abortion. The rest are are in the 8 to 15 weeks window. All of us are Trump supporters and except for the two are behind Trump and his save the country and compromise and move on.
I’ll be back at the University in spring it’s a private school in the dfw area I teach environmental sciences & geology. Social justice is a required environmental sciences curriculum so politics is routinely discussed in that classroom. Those in fly over country have no idea what the youth are like. I will reiterate what Trump our best hope of saving our country has accurately pointed out the right must reach a certain weeks compromise and move on period full stop or we lose this country to the Marxists who a re using the youth vote they know that demographic is larger and can be fired up by single issue.

I know what they are like which is one of a number of reasons I am 1,000% convinced the country is finished.
We were making progress in reducing the number of abortion clinics, and reducing the number of states that allowed third trimester abortions.
Then Roe got reversed, and energized the feminists, and probably costing us a lot in 2022.
Here’s a current fact of life: if you attempt to completely ban abortion, not only will you NOT get a ban passed, you will get the OPPOSITE of a ban once you cause more Democrats to be elected.
I see the youth, just as entitled to the previous generations. What is your point whiner? I have always been Pro-Life and still am the GOP was unwilling to accept the Supreme Court decision handed to them and say it gives us the ability to live and let live to have Conservative states make abortion laws and Liberal states make abortion laws if you need an abortion go to a liberal state.
The GOP is Globalist and Globalists actually want a 14- or 15-week abortion law.
In Emmanuel Macron’s France a 14-week law is called a breakthrough for women’s rights in 2022, then the 15-week Mississippi law gets trashed as an evil Anti-Abortion law crushing women’s rights.
