Steve Bannon, ex-aide to former President Trump, said Monday that he anticipates a big fight over whether GOP presidential hopeful Nikki Haley should be the former president’s pick for vice president in the general election.
Bannon advised strongly against Trump, who remains the GOP front-runner in the race, choosing the former South Carolina governor to be his running mate.
“One of the fights we’re going to have, a big fight, it will take place in the spring, will be — they’re going to try to force Nikki on the ticket,” Bannon said on an episode of the “Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec” podcast, first highlighted by Mediaite.

That only works for one side. The neo-cons would gladly do the deed.
It’s beyond clear at this point the establishment not is trying to force Haley onto Trumps ticket
Much like they forced Bush into Reagan’s
I say NO. Anyone who thinks importing Palestinians into the US is a good idea has no business in the White House or as part of the Trump administration.
The globalist Uniparty must be destroyed they should not be trusted in any way
This is the Hill trying to control who is on the GOP ticket.
You couldn’t be more wrong. I don’t know where you live but I think it’s a safe bet that you’re not from the southeast USA.
She’s not a natural born citizen.
Sorry.
I don’t want her as VP. If Trump wants somebody loyal and a true American he should pick Kari Lake, IMO.
Also, Noem is a sitting governor. Lake should be the governor of AZ but was cheated out of it. She’s now running for Senate and she’ll likely win (unless the Dems find a way to cheat again).
.
Of course, this is true.
Then they move to oust Trump, and promote Deep State Haley.
Trump will have a big target on his back.
Fox News and Deep Pocket Corps want only their Nikki
Bannon knows perfectly well Trump won’t pick Haley. I’m not sure why he thinks he needs to advise him not to…. Bannon is a smart guy, he probably has his reasons..
I think Team Trump might be using this VP thing this as a poison pill to kill the Nikki Haley campaign it it’s crib. In other words, the thought of joining the Trump ticket might be a turn-off to her never-Trump supporters and any MAGA supporters considering going over to her side.
Who knows. It’s just weird so many people are talking about it when it’s so profoundly unlikely.
I live in Georgia, so you’re wrong there, and wrong on the idea that Trump’s diehards will abandon him because of his VP pick.
I strongly suspect that Trump in his first term learned to NEVER allow actual enemies into his administration. The same goes for allowing COWARDS (e.g., Sessions) in who would defer to deep state recommendations that go against MAGA agendas.
Similar to “Napoleon’s Idiot” (supposedly employed to make sure all Napoleon’s orders would be completely understood by everyone)Trump should employ a FLATTERY DETECTOR to shield Trump from making bad decisions when he is subjected to flattery,
how long have you been in Georgia?
I could see Trump playing the Uno Reverse card and picking Tulsi Gabbard. RFK Jr would also be an interesting outside choice but I think he could be AG and go after the deep state and Big Pharma. Ultimately, I think it will be Elise Stefanik.
If Trump taps Haley as his Veep I’m sitting this one out. It would prove that he utterly failed to learn his lesson about surrounding himself with deep-state backstabbers.
You have to understand the situation.
As Trump nears the presidency, the Swamp will pull out all stops. This includes killing himself or his kids. He has to buy time until being sworn in.
So expect him to annoy us with hints he might do something like this. You’ll hear it in reference to Cabinet positions, too, interviewing Swamp filth.
None will ever actually be selected, but the hints will slow or stop the assassination process.
I sure as heck hope he doesn’t expect a fight from DJT on this. She is a total no go for me
The only woman I’d be ok with is Sarah Huckabee Sanders. She’s tough, proven worthy in the arena, experienced against TDS lunatics, she has executive experience and no domestic vulnerabilities (to my knowledge). The media won’t go after her for her shoes, her hobbies, her makeup.
If not Sanders, show me a better candidate among the men. I’m not seeing it.
I have voted for Donald Trump 3 times and will vote for him again on January 23.
I will not cast a vote that could make Nimrata Haley Vice President.
Sorry.
Good grief NOOO to Niki as VP! Might as well have a Demorat as to appoint her.
she is the only person on earth that can turn the south blue ...
