Food production generates more than a third of manmade greenhouse gas emissions – a new framework tells us how much comes from crops, countries and regions

Producing enough food for a growing world population is an urgent global challenge. And it’s complicated by the fact that climate change is warming the Earth and making farming harder in many places.

Food production is a big contributor to climate change, so it’s critically important to be able to measure greenhouse gas emissions from the food sector accurately. In a new study, we show that the food system generates about 35% of total global man-made greenhouse gas emissions

Corn/maize consumes 30,000+ pounds per acre of CO2.

They want vast numbers of human beings to die. Humans are the real “carbon emissions” that they want to reduce.

“Climate scientists are Weather Illiterate”

No they’re not. They know exactly what they’re doing.

Can removing all illegals from our country be considered a “green” cause? It would mean less carbon footprint in the country.

There are 1.3 billions of cows on the Earth and 8 billions of people.
Does one cow farts more than six people or does she less?

According to their MAIN goal, we can allow no more that half a billion people on the Earth.
That’s their ultimate goal!

But there are 8 billions of people now.
so 15/16 of the world population must be eliminated!

They cannot express this openly right now, as there would be uprising.
But, That’s where we are heading.

JohnKerry was beating this drum until his recent change in job title, so,it’s still current. The WEF intends to restrict food production to save the planet, and meanwhile makes no plans for how to keep people from starvation diets.

And yet still, CO2 is only .004% of the atmosphere. That’s about 1-1/4 ounces compared to a ton.

Anything before or after the phrase climate change is irrelevant as the term climate change is a unproven scientific “theory” and commonly called junk science. They are outright lies and propaganda in most cases. “Climate” is the keystone of the economic and environmental new nazis.

DallasBiff :" I know this article is 2 and 1/2 years old, but it is relevant,
the climate change zealots want to stop farming and cows and have us eat bugs."

Your article cites as its information source a business standard.com article, which states :
" “The chief economist of the Rome-based UN Food and Agriculture Organization has said that removing 100 million people from chronic undernourishment
would need an additional $14 billion (nearly 12 billion euros) every year until 2030
and nearly triple that amount to achieve the UN goal of zero hunger by 2030. “

It cited its source :
https://www.business-standard.com/article/international/world-hunger-worsened-by-climate-change-conflict-un-secretary-general-121072601405_1.html
I trust the word of the United Nations about as much as UNWA, the same terrorists of Gaza who invaded Israel on 10/7/23.
Estimates are that as many as 10% of the over 7,000 UNWA employees are active Hamas agents.
They are always looking for money, money, and more money to cure the worlds ills while trying to eliminate the world population
and have us eat bugs, insects, and kelp instead of consuming nutritious protein foods.
When do we say :"Enough", already.

“There are 1.3 billions of cows on the Earth and 8 billions of people.
Does one cow farts more than six people or does she less?”

The USDA says there is 996 million and the FAO says 1.5 billion so 1.3 is comfortably in the middle. Cows don’t fart much the methane gas is not generated in the large intestine or colon like monogastric animals. Rumens have four stomachs specifically for fermentation processes a cow doesn’t live off grass it eats grass to feed a huge colony of bacteria living in three of it four stomachs. Those bacteria first excrete enzymes to break the cellulose and hemicellulose down to complex sugars and peptides then they pass into another stomach where a different colony turns this product’s into fatty acids and more bacterial protein mass. The final stomach breaks the ffatty acids to simple organic acids acetic being the primary one and yet more single cell protein mass. What the cow then absorbs for its energy needs is that acetic acid and for its protein needs the bacterial amino acids. Fun fact you can feed cattle acetic acid directly and they will gladly use it for productive growth. If supplied an amino acid source as well. Why is this important. Because scientists have figured out how to take water,co2 and electricity from any source and make large amounts of pure acetic acid from those simple ingredients. Same for amino acids the same.groups also put bacteria in a electro cell and fed it electricity,co2 gas ,nitrogen gas and water and out came complete protein profile amino acids. Think deep space or stack and pack vertical warehouse feed production plants running off one can dream of intergal fast reactors at full power day and night. Peak time sell the power to the grid off peak feed it to your bacterial protein makers and acetic acid cells. Added bonus most C4 plants can also use acetic acid directly as their carbon and energy source you literally can grow plants hydroponicaly in the dark using acetic acid as the energy/carbon source. So far rice, corn, wheat, tomatoes, lettuce and various peas and beans have been grown in the dark on synthetic acetic acid. Here again think deep space and stack and pack. Exciting times we live in as scientists real scientists. Ok back to cows.

Along the way those colonies produce copious amounts of CO2 and methane gas as a byproduct of their own respiration processes. So cows don’t fart they burb the shortest path for the gas produced during rumentation the proper word for the process is out the esophagus not through 30+ feet of intestines.

I’mThere are a group of scientists who invented a mask that fits above not covering the cows nostrils that has a oxidation catalyst that when the cow breathes out it’s methane 90% or more is oxidized in the mask. Forget climate commies ,cows in intensive feedlot operations in closed barns can produce enough methane burbs to bring the gas/air ratio into the 4.4 to 15% range than a single spark and BOOM. This happens not infrequently the last time was major news when a enclosed feedlot blew up in the Texas panhandle when a skid loader sparked a methane rich mixture inside the barn.

“But there are 8 billions of people now.
so 15/16 of the world population must be eliminated!”

Climate commies are neoMalthusians that much is clear. However resource depletion is a very real issue for a over populated planet. It doesn’t have to be a huge genocide to bring this planet back to its carrying capacity if you want everyone at European level of energy consumption a billion is the right number. More if you build out massively fast nuclear power reactors and synthetic fuel plants a LOT less if you intend on burning every drop of hydrocarbon underground. Which can never be done at any price point anyway. With 2024 dollars and a $300 bbl price point there is 49 years of liquid hydrocarbons left at 2023 consumption levels. When not if Asia,India and Africa demand their portion of the resources at Western consumption levels that drops fast in time. Coal is next up assuming you mined every seam that’s mineable and could burn It with scrubbers to keep the massive amounts of mercury, lead and heavy metals out of the watersheds you get 200 years or so why because you have to replace all the energy consumption from liquid hydrocarbons with less efficient coal to liquid synthetic fuel plants. It’s hideously expensive to put full scrubbers, particulate filters and acid gas capture on coal plants the scrubbers cost more than the turbines and the boilers. This is the primary reason America which has natural gas reserves for about 50 years switched to clean burning gas turbines. USGS shows that if we keep the gas for ourselves and not send it via LNG exports we have 80 years at 2022 consumption levels much less if you have to power your former liquid hydrocarbon fueled things off CNG,LNG or gas to liquid synthetic fuel. You see how this snowballs resource depletion is a very real issue. For humanity the only long term energy sources are fast spectrum nuclear power of which there is millions of years of fuel for. Solar energy in high insolation area’s like deserts just 3% of the Sahara could power all of humanity with only 12 hours of daylight it’s a storage and transport problem not energy available at ground level. The last form is biomass particularity from the oceans since 75% of our planet is ocean there is virtually unlimited space to grow kelp, algae or sea grasses.

How we get down to a billion ish people doesn’t have to involve genocide at all. The Western world already has birth rates below replacement of 2.2 per breeding pair. A global 2 child policy would bring the population down in four or five generations to a billion or less. A global one child could do it in two generations. The West is already voluntary doing a under two child policy so it’s racist to say hey maybe we force Asia India and Africa into a two or one child policy.
