Republican Ted Cruz is neck and neck with his expected Democratic challenger in the race for the Texas Senate seat, according to a poll.
A University of Texas at Tyler (UTT) survey found that incumbent Cruz and Texas Representative Colin Allred, the current frontrunner to be Democratic challenger in November's Senate election, are both tied on 41 percent when potential voters are asked who they may support in the race, with 12 percent saying they are still unsure.

A biased poll IMHO but Cruz had better not be backing John Cornyn to replace Mitch McConnell I’ll say that much.
Cruz has a lot to answer for, but he is lucky to be in Texas.

It is hard to believe that in Texas, which is ground zero for the democrat led invasion, Cruz could be troubled by a democrat opponent. Do the people in Texas have a death wish?
If he was a Dimocrat, the media/commie/establishment would be all about Cruz being an hispanic US Senator, ya-da-yah-da.
He’s not in trouble; this a crap poll. Cruz was up by NINE points in another poll last week.

Well, for starters, Cornyn had ENOUGH BRAINS to not take a commercial flight out of Texas when his voters were, literally, FREEZING to death.
But I’ll still vote for Cruz, as that’s a no-brainer.

So what did Cornyn do that week that lessened the extent or impact of the power outages? Cornyn is an open borders, Bush RINO, who will undermine President Trump every chance he gets.
Trump certainly won’t help his cause.
