LANSING, Mich. -- The State of Michigan announced on Thursday that it will be doling out a total of $87,093,279.90 across 99 cities, 30 villages, 69 townships and 71 of the state's 83 counties.

Aside from the more than $87 million in funds handed out to municipalities and counties, $101.6 million was sent to the School Aid Fund for K-12 education and another $101.6 million to the Michigan Transportation Fund.

Look at it objectively, and compare the death toll to alcohol and all the idiots who do dumb stuff on that. It's a no-brainer, unless you have no brain.

Of course. My town of 13,000 people in a state that does not allow recreational MJ, has 12 weed stores. I guess most of the citizens are in need of medical care. Such BS. A stoned populace is easy to control.
Oh, great. We can use that windfall to teach students the benefits of being stoned through high school.

Nightshade is a “God given plant”. So is mistletoe. Yet We wouldn’t smoke them.
God made all plants...he also made brains and common sense and expects us to use them. So grandma might need some for pain relief. It doesn’t follow that grandma needing to smoke it means that the all the rest of us should be smoking it. Freedom is one thing, the morality and religion that undergird our liberty, per G. Washington, safe guard our freedoms when we use our liberties responsibly. That doesn’t mean you are necessarily free or have a moral right to get a buzz on in the sight of God. Grandma in terminal pain...maybe!
