Speaking of which...and a bit off topic...have you enjoyed the new Dune? I think it’s the best adaptation yet. I will wait until the second film hits Prime et.al.
Who designed that AI program? Was it supposed to be some sort of joke? It sdems far more ominous, far more disturbing than any kind of smart aleck “joke”.

I have heard that Part One is good, but I probably won’t watch either part. I would always rather not see a film version of any book I have read, because the images so rarely match what I envisioned while reading. Just my personal preference, though, and I usually don’t mind reading a book after I have seen the movie.
I did get dragged to see the 1984 Dune atrocity, which did a lot to solidify my prejudice against films made from books I’ve enjoyed.
