Biden signs $1.2 trillion spending package to keep government open

President Biden on Saturday signed a $1.2 trillion government funding bill to stave off a government shutdown, capping a frenetic sprint by lawmakers to pass the final batch of appropriations measures.

Biden praised the measure as a compromise, and “good news for the American people.”

“This agreement represents a compromise, which means neither side got everything it wanted,” Biden continued, emphasizing that it rejected “extreme cuts from House Republicans and expands access to child care, invests in cancer research, funds mental health and substance use care, advances American leadership abroad, and provides resources to secure the border that my Administration successfully fought to include. That’s good news for the American people.”

Translation:

This agreement represents a compromise, which means the democrats got everything they wanted,” Biden continued, emphasizing that it rejected any objections from House Republicans and expands access to child care for illegals, invests in cancer research which never finds a cure, funds mental health and substance use care for illegals, advances American leadership abroad especially in Ukraine, and provides resources to secure the election that my Administration successfully fought to include all the illegals. That’s good news for the American people.”

RATS have never had to compromise because Repukes are weak-kneed, lilly-livered, gutless wonders, and always have been.

They're all members of the uniparty. Only a few of them are solid. Rand Paul. Matt Gaetz. A few of them on Freedom Caucus. Believe it or not, Nancy Mace is coming around which is a shock to me. I've been following her votes.

... funds mental health and substance use care

Funding gay parties, is not helping our mental health! Actual use of Biden's spending package, to fund gay parties! The people are having a problem buying bread, but Biden let's his gay buddies have cake!

Hey give them a break ... Congre$$ is just doing the job that we voted them into power to do ... take our tax dollars and spend it on their pet projects so they get re-elected again ... and get richer and ricer in doing that.

When we do it it’s counterfeiting.

When they do its monetization.

Y’know, the refrain is “we need both houses and the Presidency. Then you’ll see some action on reversing the crazy.”

The Republicans had the trifecta they wanted in 2001 and 2017. GWB went along with massive spending in 2001. Trump fought The Swamp almost singlehandedly in 2017 to stop the same.

But, but...

Matt Gaetz said that when Johnson was voted in as Speaker that Republicans now had the man and the plan to get things done!

I would would reduce the rate of spending for three years.

Then freeze the amount spent for the fourth year based on the amount spent in the third year.

In the second term, reduce spending by 1% every year. Keep doing that with subsequent Congresses and Administrations until the debt is <5% of revenues.

A pipe dream, I know!

It would need to be written in such a way to prevent them from borrowing or raising taxes in order to fulfill the requirements of the law.

When they do its monetization.

The term I've heard used when the government keeps the presses rolling is "quantitative easing."

Biden praised the measure as “good news for the American people.”

100% bull sh*t.

Those in government couldn't care less about the welfare of American people. They're a pack of deceitful lying bastards.

“Biden praised the measure as a compromise, and “good news for the American people.””

Whatever it is, I’m against it.
