Since cops are shunned, spat upon and defunded all over the country, they risk their lives but are afraid of being charged in court and going to prison if they fight back.
In the classic Naked City series there was an episode of the common morons throwing things including heavy objects down from two and three story apartment tenements at the police on patrol and others surrounding police cars. Can’t find the episode #. 1958-1963.
The wimpy American people will have to decide:
Anarchy and out of control privileged mobs and confident criminals run the cities and towns
or
police do law enforcement and someone goads the judicial system into putting the guilty in prison.
Until then, I pray as always for the safety of vigilantes.

...........there are MALE cops who would have got out of the patrol car and when the punks attacked (assuming they even did) he would have pulled his gun and shot one or two of them kinda sort of like Kyle did.
Now this town in Va will have hoodlums running around KNOWING they can intimidate the DEI/Affirmative Action police girls coffee club.

About 3 miles from my old high school (Edison HS). I moved away from there in the late ‘90s to rural Virginia and never looked back.
I lived in Fairfax County too, Reston. Moved out in 2008….. There are still some very nice areas but it has turned deep blue.
OTOH, criminals have to realize that the police exist to protect them from victims and citizens. Once that is turned around we’ll see some real changes.
I don’t mean to sound unsympathetic, but how did she vote in 2020 and 2022? Did she vote for this? Did she choose abortion rights over putting a stop to this? If she did, then I hope she’s seriously reconsidering in 2024, before it’s too late.
The old Erol’s Video headquarters was at 6621 Electronic Drive. It’s an industrial area.
There’s also only two streets that go into or out of the place so a little strategic cop action could’ve trapped the perps.
We got married in Fairfax back in 1971. Was a very nice quiet place, well ordered. Actually all of northern VA was a good place to live. Easy simple driving, nice stores, good place to eat, lots of nice homes, little parks here and there.
We went back there in the mid-90’s, and what a change. It was obvious big government and the democrats were taking over.
Everything the democrats touch turns into a nightmare. None of it is accidental.
