3 Accused of Plotting to Bomb Military Bases in Texas

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Three men with Arab names were charged Tuesday with making terrorist threats after allegedly telling a stripper at a topless bar they intended to blow up military bases in San Antonio.

According to a police report obtained by WOAI radio under the Texas Open Records Act, the men were "very serious" and said they were "having a good time and spending our money just like our others did before 9-11."

Some of the Sept. 11 terrorists spent the week before the attacks in a topless bar in Florida.

Patrolman Al Ballew said the three men, identified by police as Jadallah Abdallah, 21; Matram Sayez Hijaz, 20; and Rabhi Abdalla, 25, were paying "large amounts of money" to a stripper for private dances.

Abdallah and Abdalla gave addresses in San Antonio, although Abdalla claimed he was from "the West Bank." Hijaz gave police an address in Mesquite, a Dallas suburb.

Police confiscated a brown paper bag from Abdalla containing "several names and numbers and vehicle keys," as well as 21 gold and platinum credit cards. They also confiscated three Texas driver's licenses from Abdalla.

Officers also found a road map of Florida in the men's car, as well as "envelopes written in Arabic."

Federal Charges Unlikely!

Mark Rich, an FBI spokesman in San Antonio, said the men were questioned by agents, and he said they were "very interested" in the comments they made, but he told WOAI that federal charges were unlikely.

The men were being detained for the Immigration and Naturalization Service and were facing state charges of making terrorist threats. They were held in the county jail in lieu of $2 million bond apiece.

Officials could not confirm if the names given were the men's real names, if they are Arabs, or whether Hijaz really was from the West Bank. Their car was registered in North Carolina.

The manager of the topless club declined to comment.

Yeah, what if some white school kids made comments like this? Zero tolerance and mandatory punishment.

Seems like with any potential Islamist terrorists the FBI's first response is that "boys will be boys" or "they must be depressed" unless there is absolute proof stuck under their noses.

3 Charged With Making Terrorist Threats

Three men, including one who identifies himself as a Palestinian, have been charged with making terrorist threats.

The suspects, Jadallah Abdallah, Ribhi Abdallah, and Makram Hijazi, appeared before a federal magistrate in San Antonio Tuesday morning who set bond at $2 million each.

According to a San Antonio Police report, the men told a topless dancer at the XTC Caberet at 2023 Sable Lane that they were terrorists.

"We're Arab. We won't hurt you, but we are here to carry out further attacks ... to blow up military bases. We're having a good time spending money just like the others in 9-11 did," the police report said.

But during the arraignment, the suspects denied the allegations. Hijaz told the judge "We're not terrorists. I don't even know how to make bombs. We live here. We work here."

Police detectives and FBI (news - web sites) agents are questioning the men.

What no federal charges? I guess the Feds aren't interested in either demolishing the false perception that Islam is a religion of peace or that there is a huge sleeper network of Arab terrorists planted in this country waiting to strike at key aspects of our infrastructure. Talk about falling asleep on the job at the FBI! Who woulda thunk? It turns out after all the talk of change after what happened on 911 it remains business as usual and denial to the truth is a river in Washington DC.

Exactly! Seems with regard to sleeper terrorists, 0704 was an isolated incident. It looks like 911 is being relegated down the memory hole by our officialdom. So much for taking the War On Terror seriously. We just don't want to rouse the sheeple from their snoozle about the danger our country is facing.
