Aside from the fact these idiots should have known you can't throw a dead cat in San Antonio without hitting a GI or a member of their family.....

Benning was crime free as far as the locals went. They never came on post and acted up.

"All my brother thinks about is bringing food to his wife and daughter," he said.

And, his concern that lap dances now cost $30.00.

So let's get this straight: If you are an average white boy, and you make a silly, obviously joking comment about having a bomb in your suitcase when you're in line at the airline check-in, you're immediately going to be arrested, carted to the jailhouse, and you will be convicted and given some sort of sentence (happened here in Houston to a German tourist).

But if you're a young man of Middle Eastern extraction, and you make this comment in public, you're just fine.

How does this work, again?

As a Texan, with first-hand expeinence on the terroristic threat statute in this state, I can assure you that a $2M bond would not be likely.

A $30k for attempted homicide, a felony, is not unusual.

Terroristic threat is a misdemeanor.

If I have redeemed myself amongst my fellow freepers with this info, I am happy. now, what were the actual charges? That is the real question....
