WANT to keep abreast of the latest in male fashion? Well, the message from Milan is to say goodbye to Mr Macho and hello to Mr Androgyny.
The provocative direction ? featuring male models with fake breasts under figure-hugging knitwear ? was sent down the catwalk by outrageous British designer Vivienne Westwood in the mens' autumn winter 2003 shows held this week.
And while the effect may look outrageous today, fashion commentators reckon Sydney men may just end up adopting it ? in a few years' time.
Director of fashion at Sydney TAFE, Alison Mason, said while Westwood's designs have always been controversial they have largely made their way into our everyday wardrobe.
"The look is controversial but we may see it in some diluted manner in stores," Ms Mason said.

Wasn't there a seinfeld episode where Kramer tried to invent one of those?

Next they'll be showing women on the runways spouting a dildo under the dress.
To: freedomson
Um, no thanks.

(But maybe Hugh Grant is interested?)

Yes, that was a classic episode. The downfall of the product was Kramer's insistence that the bra be named, the "bro", while his partner, Frank Costanza, insisted it be named the manzier.

A natural consequence of the gender-neutral look: first pants, then shirts, now underwear. Another example of how the cultural elites are working overtime to deny gender distinctions created by God. This is disgusting, of course, but we Freepers should ask ourselves if we are wearing gender-neutral clothes that contribute to the problem.
A simple test I use is to look at a person from behind. Assuming the hair doesn't give it away, I ask myself if the clothes reflect the sex. Usually they don't (e.g. the Gap look). Seeing that so often, I determined last year to revamp my wardrobe. As a result, today no one has trouble identifying me as a lady in my feminine skirts and dresses.

Another example of how the cultural elites are working overtime to deny gender distinctions created by God.Wow, I didn't consider that. You nailed it, alright.

A simple test I use is to look at a person from behind. I could wear carpenter pants, a lumberjack shirt, and steel-toed boots, and no one would ever mistake me for a man from behind ... (LOL)

Don't forget the Adam's Apple. The Adam's Apple never lies. Neither do the hands.
