Where did the Iraqi Bio Suits,masks, and atropine come from?

Has there been a report on what country manufactured the bio-suits and masks? I have to believe that there is some sort of identification on the suits. Also are the suits something left over from the Iran Iraq war or are they a newer model. Say something under a couple years old?

Personally I think it would be pretty funny if they were made in France. My guess however is that they are Russian.

The same thing goes for the atropine injectors. The picture I saw today weren’t of the small ampoules that we tried to stop a while ago. Those were the size of the ones we had when I was on active duty a long time ago. They should also have a manufacturer and lot number on them which will identify the production date.

None of these items were prohibited for the Iraqis, and they were regularly reported as having procured them on the usual markets. Indeed, the Iraqi orders of atropine have been regularly cited by the past two U.S. governments as a central part of their WMD charges.

This is just my observation. When the news I was watching (I flip all the time) was talking about the finds in the hospital there were weapons (showed a crate of random weapons) atropine (a box of syringes that could be anything, I don't claim to be an expert but airedale seemed to recognize them) ,military uniforms (shots of the troops in the desert) and chem suits (pics of smoke over Baghdad).

I switched and watched on other networks and never saw the uniforms or chem suits. Did anyone see them? Please don't flame me, it's just an observation and I'm hoping I was just watching the wrong programs.

I think the most important question is why the Iraqis have these down south. Were they intending to use chem/bio weapons on us down there? Have they now consolidated them up with the IRG near Baghdad?
