Robbins responded in a letter to Petroskey, saying: "You belong with the cowards and ideologues in a hall of infamy and shame." Don't think Meat, you can only hurt the ballclub...
To: GAGOPSWEEPTOVICTORY
Robbins said he'd been looking forward to "a weekend away from politics and war." And the people watching the Oscars were looking forward to a night away from politics and war, too. But I guess they don't count, do they. It's only about you.

Oh please, please tell me this cost them money! Remember ole Susan and the United Way cancellation--that cost her $20,000. I hope this cost twice as much.

The season has started and you didn't make the cut Tim. It's hell spending your entire career in the minor leagues.

Robbins and Sarandon, his longtime partner, Speaking of mincing words, and free speach, The article writer got his own little play on free speech imbedded in that sentence. Isn't this a situation that represents, "we spit on your conventional values, we are smarter than you", kind of lifestyle.?

"He said he did not realize baseball was "a Republican sport."
I guess that by his standards Treason Spinelessness is a democratic identifier

RX for dyspepsia brought about by reference to Tim Robbins:
Purchase or rent one copy of the film "High Fidelity"; find scene where TR is beaten to a pulp; play over and over again until symptoms dissipate.

"I am sorry that you have chosen to use baseball and your position at the Hall of Fame to make a political statement," Robbins wrote. "I know there are many baseball fans that disagree with you, and even more that will react with disgust to realize baseball is being politicized. I'm sorry Tim that you have used your position and visability given to you by hollywood to make a political statment. I know there are many movie fans that disagree with you, and you are now just realizing now how they have reacted with disgust after realizing how much hollywood is being politicized.
How's that? I don't see how Tim couldn't agree with that statment. Yup, free speech sure can be a bitch when its used in a free society, huh Tim?

Robbins responded in a letter to Petroskey, saying: "You belong with the cowards and ideologues in a hall of infamy and shame." What an immature thing to say. "I don't like how you treated me so I'm going to call you big names." I used to enjoy watching his movies. Never again. These pampered Hollywood brats need a big case of "grow up already".

I laughed so hard at Tim's letter, what a hypocrite.....did he write that with a straight face?

I admit I did enjoy Robbins' performance in the film
Jacob's Ladder--one of the most underrated suspense films in history.
I can do without his politics, and in a way I feel very sorry for him. Her majestry Susan seems to hold an almost evil spell over the man.

Oh thank God, for a while there I was thinking that they might not have been receiving my emails!

<< I laughed so hard at Tim's letter, what a hypocrite ..... did he write that with a straight face? >>
No.
He wrote it with a tongue-chewin'-babblin'-idiot's face.
His upper body was straight, though.
Jacketed, that is.

Sounds to me like Tim Robbins isn't all that bright. Maybe he'll eventually figure out that every organization that might have considered dealing with him is dreadfully afraid of losing customers and/or contributors. Take the hint, Tim.
The last thing the Baseball Hall of Fame needs right now is a "Dixie Chicks moment."
