Rush is probably the greatest live act I've ever seen. Their music sounds pretty close to the CD versions. IMHO, Rush is the greatest band around. They are each virtuosos with their respective instruments and their lyrics are great. I especially enjoy their Ayn Rand inspired tunes like Anthem, 2112, Freewill, Something for Nothing, and others.

I agree. Their live music is nearly CD quality. A true enjoyment. They make a lot of sound for three guys.

It might be because it IS the CD version. That was certainly the case when I saw the Moody Blues 15 years ago.
