What do you call a woman who marries into an ocean view home, a Mercedes, a daily massage, and is filing for divorce a year later? As a woman, I have more respect for a someone who is upfront about what they are after than those who aren't. And they aren't all young and they aren't all female. The world is full of folks looking for someone else to take care of them.

What is the difference? The crap game is at my garage. The lotto tickets are at the government locations. The casino is open 24 hrs a day.
What is the difference?

Indeed. Well said. I was thinking much the same thing. And Ms. Fleiss never, NEVER looks happy. For her, it's always been about the money, ch-ching, and power. That's all. She used and manipulated those beautiful (dare I say more beautiful than her?) young women to her own financial advantage. Ever heard her father, Dr. Fleiss? When her trial was on air, he was all over the news. It explains a lot.

Well the differnce there is that the state can capitolize on lotto and casino, but since you and your buddies can wager in your garage without paying the state, it is illegal. If they could find a way to tax you on it, it would be hunky-dorey.

"...buys her a very expensive dinner, and she sleeps with him, is this considered some form of prostitution ?"Good question.
Next time, I'll try offering my date the 'cash value of the meal', 2 hours of discussion centering around the joys of cat ownership, karma, and our gay friends, THEN ask for sex.

When my wife asked me to rub her feet for 20 minutes, then we can have sex, is that prostitution?

That's what I thought. As usual, the laws have nothing to do with right and wrong, just who gets the money.

I'm actually asking a question, not callng anybody any names

As I said earlier, the English Common Law does NOT consider prostitution a crime, but in their Laws, solicitating sex for money (like street-walking), is a crime.
And the reason for this logic may be just that, that there are very grey areas, ie, a guy dates a girl, buys her an expensive dinner, and then she had sex with him, and then, wham bam , the DA charged her with prostitution. Just where do we draw the line???????
smart people, these English

So what IS the difference?
Is it a cash/check/charge monetary point?
What about food stamps?

What is the "cash value" of two hours of discussion centering around the joys of cat ownership, karma, and your gay friends? I'm up to $250,000 right there!
