This reminds me of when I saw Spokeman #47 Congressman Drier on FoxNews' face drop when Tony Snow asked if the "Arnold wants to debate" Talking Point included Tom McClintock. LOL

Had one on here this morning claiming Drier was calling for debates. The tube has been full of him the last week and I haven't seen anything but talking points from the guy.

Looks like...No script=No arnuld.

Good graphic.

I like McClintock and his platform, but he doesn't have what it takes to win the majority vote in this recall/ election. He simply muddies the water enough for Cruz to move ahead and possibly win.

Too bad people aren't basing their opinion in reality when it comes to the Davis recall. McClintock is a dividing candidate when it comes to the Republican vote. It makes me think sometimes that that there is an orchestrated attempt by a few to allow Cruz to win this thing.

That wouldn't include you I hope.

Yeah I already know you think that.

Too bad people aren't basing their opinion in reality when it comes to the Davis recall.

Would that reality include which is the best candidate with the best platform, or who is the 'R' with the most name recogintion? What reality are you living in?

McClintock is a dividing candidate when it comes to the Republican vote.

Well that depends on what your definition of "is is" doesn't it?

It makes me think sometimes that that there is an orchestrated attempt by a few to allow Cruz to win this thing.

Yeah, I also heard you are a big conspiracy theorist with any who question (R)nold as well.

That wouldn't include you I hope.

You outted me, heck its not even a SECRET anymore on here, so many (R)nold supporters have found me out with my secret campaign to get Bustamante elected. Even so, try to keep it hush hush.

Its a sad day when conservatives, who are standing up to Moderate/Liberal Republicans on a conservative message board are called supporters of a Liberal Democrate simply for doing so. Flame on.

I agree for the most part. BTW, winning this particular election requires only the plurality of the vote, not a majority.

There are more moderates than staunch conservatives in the GOP California base. When I say staunch, I might as well include the word "thinking". There simply is not enough "thinking" Republicans to push McClintock over the top.

Sorry, that's reality. I like McClintock too, and if this was a primary, I would vote for him. IT IS NOT A PRIMARY. This is in essence is a general election. There are more Dems that will go with Cruz while McClintock tears the GOP vote. At least Simon and Issa knew what was the most intelligent and logical path to take in this thing.

Nobody is going to get the majority vote in this election.

The winner will get 25-35%.

McClintock got 45% statewide in controller race last year.

All the whining going on makes me think that there is an orchestrated attempt by a few to allow a liberal with an "R" by his name to win this thing. Which, of course, there is.

Let's see a open and honest debate of the issues, and then conclude who is and who isn't the best qualified candidate.

Bull.

If that were true, Senator Fong would be a reality.

This isn't the primaries. The GOP has one shot at this, sorry that Arnold isn't as conservative as we like, but the majority of votes is what we are after here. He apparently is a fiscal conservative. I prefer half a plank to no plank at all taking residence in the Governor's mansion. McClintock is not going to get the majority vote in this thing. That is REALITY. If you want to go down with the SS McClintock, feel free, but the only lifeboat in this is Austrian made.

You have to realize that the voter has to be motivated in two ways here:

(1) Remove the fiscally inept Davis

and

(2) Vote in a replacement that the voter feels will solve the financial crisis.

What candidate will motivate the majority of voters to do these two things? McClintock? Nope. Arnold? Absolutely.

That is simply the facts.
