Great post, Jean. The error centers around the under-estimation of Original Sin and the over-estimation of man's free will.
As it was Genesis, so it is today.

Worshipping God through faith in Christ rather than independently of His will placing our reason before Him keeps on from falling into a sin of religion.

Any person who echos the Nicene Creed without remaining faithful in Him through Christ is even more profane and foul before God. May we never turn away from retaining our in faith in Him in all and any thing.
Why would you prefer to offer homage to a person who claimed to be Calvinist, but lacked faith in Him? Any person who holds 'Calvinism' as a higher ideal than faith in Christ has created a false idol.

Any person who holds 'Calvinism' as a higher ideal than faith in Christ has created a false idol. I might be missing something here... I would hope you would you say that about anybody that holds X as a higher ideal than faith in Christ.

Now that's funny! I had a hard enough time figuring out what you said so I had to respond with something completely off-the-wall.
