Pope Francis Denies the Existence of Hell
Rorate Caeli | 03-29-2018

Posted on 03/29/2018 7:40:27 AM PDT by NRx

[Scalfari:] Your Holiness, in our previous meeting you told me that our species will disappear in a certain moment and that God, still out of his creative force, will create new species. You have never spoken to me about the souls who died in sin and will go to hell to suffer it for eternity. You have however spoken to me of good souls, admitted to the contemplation of God. But what about bad souls? Where are they punished?

[Francis:] "They are not punished, those who repent obtain the forgiveness of God and enter the rank of souls who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot therefore be forgiven disappear. There is no hell, there is the disappearance of sinful souls."

Big difference between “deapair” and “sorrow”; but I guess you wouldn’t know that.

I see your command of the English language is rather limited.

Just a typo on my part, but I do recommend you purchase a dictionary.

Not talking about the typo...though I did notice that.

But the issue remains....your pope pulled those sentiments from Roman Catholic "Tradition". But your blind hatred of the guy won't allow you to acknowledge that.

Nowhere in the link you provided did it state the Blessed Mother despaired during Christ’s Passion. Despair is a sin, Judas despaired and look what happened to him. The Blessed Mother was born sinless and remained so Her whole earthly life.

My dislike of Jorge Bergolio pales in comparison with your hatred of God’s Mother and the One Church He founded.

P.S. Everytime you use the Blessed Mother to attack Her or the Catholic Church, I pray a Hail Mary for you, as a reparation.

Perhaps you were out the day they discussed synonyms.

There is no problem with the Mary we find in the New Testament.

But there is an issue with what Roman Catholicism has done to her.

You are aware some of the ECFs believed she sinned?? Right?

You are aware Scripture does not affirm what Rome teaches about the Immaculate Conception....right?

You would do better praying straight to God as Paul noted in Phil 4.

I pray the Pater Noster. There’s six of them in the rosaries I pray.

What’s your problem?

Another Hail Mary + Our Father for you. You’re keeping me busy. Thanks.

Just one more of the many reasons Christianity rejects Roman Catholic "Tradition" as being equal to Scripture.

Christianity does not reject Catholic Sacred/Holy Tradition.

The journalist proffered in this thread as a credible witness:

  1. From Fascism to Liberal/Radicalism
  2. Atheist
  3. Pro-abortion
  4. 93 years old

Uh....yes it does reject it. Tradition is not equal to Scripture as claimed by Roman Catholicism.

No; Christianity does not reject Sacred/Holy Tradition. Latter Day Saints may reject it, but that is not authentic historic Christianity.

Yeah, yeah.

Has Bergoglio denied it?

Will you respond to the rest of of my post #258?

Bergolio's best friends are pro-abortion or actual abortionists, e.g. Jeffery Sachs, Emma Bonino, etc.

Actually, the Mormons and Romam Catholics are close cousins as they both accord non inspired writings to be of equal status as inspired Scripture.

Christianity does not.

There is a difference between Christianity and Romam Catholicism. A big difference.

God does nothing that is good for nothingness.

When he gave every human a soul, it will not be annihilated.

We all stand condemned, until we come to face Him, confess our sins and believe in Him through faith in Christ (what He provided at the Cross, namely He was judged in our place by God the Father). Once we confess our sins and face Him, He is now free in His perfect integrity to give us a human spirit.

The new man has the soul and spirit, while the old man is scarred in his condemned soul. Condemnation precedes salvation for humans.

Either our souls are saved or they are condemned. They are not annihilated. In the Lake of Fire, they go where the worm doesn’t die.

Mormons are Latter Day Saints, an offshoot of American Protestantism from the 19th Century. Christianity is historic, 20 Centuries old and Catholic/Orthodox.
