Yes, Noah and Lot were saved from the wrath. But they did not leave the earth. They were spared and protected from the wrath of God. But in both cases, they remained on the earth. They were not removed. And God will protect and spare His people once again during the wrath of God.

Also, in Revelations the Apostle John was told to come up hither. He was still on the earth. His spirit was caught up to behold the visions. But he continued to remain on the earth until his death later on.

Even as the Apostle Paul in spirit was caught up to the third heaven and saw things he couldn’t even speak of at that time. But he was still living and remained on the earth for years until he later died.

Those Christians who are still alive on the earth and remain at the coming of the Lord will then be caught up to meet the Lord with those who have already died (and are coming back with Him.)

Are you familiar with the trumpet calls when the camp was to muster for travel, in the desert? Are you familiar with the blowing of the Shofar? Have you read how a Trumpet blast was sounded as the alarm of something about to happen? Sequence is He descends from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Ark Angel, and the Trump of God ... the dead whose souls have been in Heaven with The Lord (absent from the body is to be present with the Lord) God is bringing with him. They get new bodies then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them into the clouds, to meet the Lord IN THE AIR, not upon the Earth. In John 14 Jesus tells us He will return to take us to the Father's House, not to the battlefield Earth. Yet we do descend from Heaven with The Lord Christ at the end of the Great Tribulation.

Paul did NOT refer to muster for travel, when he wrote about the sounding of the 'last' trump. It requires boxing the Heavenly Father in a box, and compartmentalizing His instruction to claim Paul was referring to anything but the 'last' trump.

That 'new body' is the same body, 'soul' that every individual had when they took this flesh journey... Christ demonstrated that at conception His Spirit body was placed in a 'flesh' body... What do you think the Mount of Transfiguration was suppose to teach.

Paul says in Ephesians 6 the 'war' is not of flesh and blood but a 'spiritual' war. Christ said when asked about the 'signs' of His return that 'wars and rumors of wars' was NOT the end... The opposite of 'wars and rumors of wars' is a fake 'peace' 'peace' 'peace' agreement brought forth by the fake Jesus... Christ said that all but the elect would be deceived and TIME was shortened for their sake.

In John 14, where did Jesus tell His disciples He would take them when He came for them?

I am guessing you are referring to the following instruction?

John 14 :1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

What exactly does that word 'mansions' literally mean? Christ said I will come again.... where does He say He is leaving this earth upon His return. Flesh literally cannot survive off this 'earth' without special specific equipment...

Ezekiel 16 declares that Jerusalem is the Heavenly Father's most favorite place of all His creation... He is going to 'reclaim' that piece of real estate... Might do a study on the last chapters of Ezekiel to have a look see as to what to expect.

The word translated as 'mansions' is more like rooms rather than mansions, a sense more like a hotel room or short layover room.

Paul tells us we will be transformed before going to meet Him in the air. John in 1John tells us we shall see Him as He really is because when we see Him we shall be like Him, like He is now in His glorified state.

In John 14 did you miss the part where Jesus tells us He is preparing a place in The Father's House? The New Jerusalem descends after the tribulation is over and done. We come with Jesus at the end of the Great Tribulation. We come from Heaven with Him.

There’s a very strong teacher, Dr. Andy Woods who agrees with your point adds that these places which are being referred to are quite temporary for the rapture believers — 7 years. Afterwards we receive a different abode for the millenium.

Generally, you should not. It is best to back away quietly, making sure not to make eye contact.

Good for you. Believe on Him and His Spirit will do the rest in a heart open to His guidance. ‘Raise up a child in the way that they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it.’ What better Father than God to raise the children of God?

You hanged your hat on, “And God will protect and spare His people once again during the wrath of God.” Yes, JEWS under antichrist lust to slaughter them, will flee to Petra and HOD will protect them there until the evil is dealt with. That is not a Rapture perspective. What Paul revealed in 1 Thess 4 is a truly supernatural event.

I’m very familiar with your line of reasoning. I got saved in 1976 and have heard many times the standard end time rapture teaching you believe. Most church preachers learn that while at seminary and they all stick with that teaching.

There are other ministers, though, who study the end time teachings looking for the truth. And through careful study, they believe all Christians will be here through the tribulation. From my own Bible studies over the years, I agree with them.

You might read some of their teachings (if you are open to hear the truth they present). For example:

And you might consider joining Gingis on your knees, too. IF you believe The Bible, God showed Paul the Rapture of believers ( 1Thess 4:13-17). Jesus assured His disciples that He was coming back for them to take them to the Father’s House, not to Armageddon. John was shown the event and wrote what he heard as the first verse in The Revelation, chapter four. Much further in that Revelation John reveals those taken up as returning with Jesus at the end of the Tribulation.

I'm not a dispensationalist.

As for the failed prophecy memory hole, it's simple fact. Who here now admits to obsessing over Comet Elenin, the end of the Mayan calendar, the blood moons, or last year's astrological nonsense?

Thabks for the Britton link. I’ll add it into the lengthy studies I have been into for the past thirty plus years. I have settled upon what Paul taught on the subject, and Jesus iterated on the subject, and John revealed on the subject. See you in the clouds ...

I might wonder that too, except it doesn’t swerve any use. I did not obsess over those events and don’t really care who has. That there is coming a supernatural moment of transformation only for those who are His, well that is the only thing I would obsess over, after what I have been taught by His Spirit.
