Dude, there are plenty more examples of Roman Catholics resorting to profanity.

Roman Catholics hold the unofficial record for being banned and/or suspended from the religion forum.

Pot meet kettle. You have no such evidence. My own experience is non-Catholics tend to dig right in insulting Catholics, attacking them, profanity or not.

It's really not to hard to find examples of Roman Catholics using profanity.....

You may recognize this post.....

Hell, the textbooks specifically refer to them and show examples of using THEIR graphing calculator.

Are you actually asserting that use of the English word "hell" is profanity?

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Matthew, Catholic chapter five, Protestant verses twenty eight to twenty nine,
as authorized, but not authored, by King James

It amazes me the Roman Catholic attempting to defend this....it’s like listening to cnn trying to defend liberals.

Do you think the word "hell" in Hebrew, Greek, or English is profanity?

Depends on how it's used. Hence my statement about context.

Silly to you yet the truth.

Depends on how it's used.

Do you also think the word "heaven" can be profanity based on context?

The use of the word "hell" in English, Greek, or Hebrew is not profanity. It may be vain language, like the use of the words "man, brother, sister, dude, cowboy, doggone, bless me, bless you, heavens", etc., yet is not profanity. Of course, if one considers the word "hell" holy, it may offend one's conscience to witness its use.

Another may consider this to be nonsense language, but certainly not profanity. I find it more troubling when one persecutes another for his faith.

Tell your priest to "go to hell" or ask him "how the hell are you" and let me know how he responds.

Your attempted defense of this is very telling of Roman Catholicism.

An insult is not necessarily profanity. For example, insulting people on threads for being Catholic is not profanity. It doesn't do much for fundraising but it is not profanity.

Catholic bashing is the last acceptable bigotry.

Oh please...how many "protestant" bashing threads have been posted? Or "protestants" are heretic threads?

Considering what we’ve seen Catholic defend, defending vulgarity and profanity is no surprise.

Well, yes, we can know for sure if we're going to Heaven or not. Why?

Because He said so through His word.

You sir, just committed the horrible sin of presumption. How dare you do such a dastardly deed? You probably believe Mary and Joseph had other children, after Jesus was born, and the rapture is coming. Oh, the horror of horrors. 😁😂👍 Actually, the truth is, occasionally, like about every moment of every day, I have been known to bask in the glory of assurance of salvation.
It’s a beautiful thing. Everyone should have it, and if they don’t, that’s on them. 😇🇮🇱

One man’s faith is another man’s presumption.

God gave us promises. To not believe them is calling God a liar.

The problem will not go away until the Church wakes up to the fact that they have got to boot all of the queer priests out of the priesthood and refuse them entry into the seminaries. The Church has to admit that homosexuality is a real problem.

It is not only the queer priests that have to be booted. Much of this is in the congregation and top leadership. There is only one time in Biblical history where a nation repented top to bottom. Anyone know the situation?

Many brave people here have a solution but have any personally told a homo to repent and turn to God?
