FULL TITLE: Tennessee sheriff's detective who is also a pastor calls for government executions of LGBT people in sermon
A detective in Tennessee has sparked outrage by delivering a church sermon calling for the government to execute LGBT people.
Knox County Sheriff's Detective Grayson Fritts made the remarks on Sunday while preaching at the All Scripture Baptist Church in Knoxville, where he is a pastor.
'If you do not hate the homosexual then you are in violation and God's wrath will be upon you,' Fritts said. 'I don't think that the government is going to be putting them to death tomorrow. But can we agree at least that that's what Leviticus 20:13 says?'
The church posted the full video of the sermon, titled 'Sodomite Reprobrates', on Facebook and YouTube.
On Wednesday evening, with several members of the local press in attendance, Fritts defended his remarks in another fiery sermon.
'The sermon I preached about sodomy is what the Bible says! And hey, if you don't like it, just say "I don't believe the Bible,"' he said.
'I'm not calling anyone in here to violence. I'm saying it's the government's responsibility,' said Fritts.
Speaking to news outlets Wednesday, Fritts said his beliefs didn't affect his work in the sheriff's office.
On Wednesday, after reports of the Sunday sermon emerged, Knox Sheriff Tom Spangler issued a statement saying that Fritts had asked two weeks ago to take a county buyout offer.
Spangler said he agreed, and Fritts is on paid sick leave until the buyout takes effect July 19, ending his employment as a deputy.

Hmmm, that’s not exactly calling for government execution of homosexuals. He is accurately stating what is in Leviticus. He does appear to be calling for government to sanction homosexual behavior, which was the norm until less than a century ago.
If anything, it’s lieberals and progressives that want the government to place in internment and do away with conservatives.
In any case, as for sodomites, they will face a HOT judgement, when their time comes.

In September 2003, Fritts was one of six officers who opened fire at a suicidal man during a "suicide by cop" encounter, according to court records and Knoxville News Sentinel archives. The man was superficially wounded by one bullet, while the rest of the 28 rounds fired, including six by Fritts, missed the man.In November, 2009, Fritts was off duty and working private security when he fired twice at a man trying to flee in a car from a Kroger parking lot in Farragut after shoplifting, according to court to a sheriff's office report and Knoxville News Sentinel archives. Fritts missed both times from close range, and the driver sped away, but was later arrested.

Well clearly the Earth isn't "flat", but clearly the bible does say what the man claims it says.
God burned two cities to death because they were filled with Sodomites. In a lesser known section of the bible, all the tribes of Israel gathered together to destroy the City of Benjamin because Sodomites had attempted to rape a man who traveled there, but contented themselves with murdering his woman. The combined forces of all the tribes of Israel destroyed the city of Benjamin, and there slew everything that drew breath.
And yes, Leviticus says they need to be killed.

I can’t say I disagree, at least in principle. Homosexuality, particularly male homosexuality is violence. It should be both criminalized and prosecuted. Those caught in the act should be in jail, or in particular egregious cases of homosexual rape, be executed.
They can take it a bit too far. Was almost picked up myself by a gang of poofters while just walking the streets of Palm Springs. For some reason, they stopped and walked away just a foot or two from grabbing me. Must have smelt bad or something lol. They definitely have issues going forward, but death at this point would be a bit too much.

You’re right, but Romans 1 says homosexuals are worthy of death, along with many others, like whisperers and backbiters!
