It’s hard to believe that it’s worse today than for the world in 1914 or 1939. I often think how blessed I have been that I never had to flee foreign or domestic soldiers. I have never spent a wet, cold, hungry night in hiding. We are living in the best times in history.

From a spiritual standpoint we are at a point where arguably 50% of the population of the U.S. would vote for a leader that approves of killing children both inside and outside of the womb. We have very serious issues like never before.

Might as well ask: “You actually believe in the Bible?”
Well, yeah, the multiverse is literally the only interpretation of Quantum Mechanics we have conceived of that doesn’t ultimately require the existence of some kind of supernatural god-like entity.
So it’s that or nothing for the materialists. They surely know as well as anyone else that the multiverse interpretation isn’t a scientifically valid proposal, since it can’t ever be observed or disproven, and it can’t make any testable predictions. But, it’s the only straw they have left to grasp at, otherwise they would have to admit that their fundamental assumptions are wrong.

Just don’t put Quantum Mechanics in the same category as string “theory”, multiverse, etc. QM is about as hard as hard science gets, it is not just speculative or pseudoscience.
Now, QM can still be quite confusing, but it is well verified and not likely at all to be falsified.

That's a tough one, but there are some theories about that. I think the "multiple incursion" explanation is the most likely.

It’s very interesting, but so full of details that it’s hard to digest. There is a lot of evidence to support the author’s assertions, though.
