We're talking about two different things.

No, we're not. You're just refusing to acknowledge the emergency that Archbishop LeFebvre saw 32 years sgo.

If you still can't see it, you need a new refraction for your rose-colored glasses.

(The Pope didn't see an emergency, either.)

Of course not! He was too busy organizing his Assisi abominations.

It didn't matter what I saw or didn't see, or even what Lefebvre saw; Lefebvre wouldn't defer to the Pope on the matter, so he joins all of the others who were "smarter than the Pope".

We know them by their fruits; no longer obedient to Rome, they are predictably breaking apart. We have four hundred years of protestantism to show us that it won't end well.

Well, I'm sorry I'm not as smart as the pope to believe I worship the muslims "god" or believe God wills multiple religions or that Hell doesn't exist.

Cardinal Ratzinger (later Pope Benedict XVI) refused to join JP II for his Assisi II interfaith group-hug. Who was the smarter pope?

Cardinal Ratzinger didn’t disobey the Pope, either.

...so he joins all of the others who were "smarter than the Pope".

Are the post-conciliar popes smarter than their pre-conciliar predecessors?

Even in the case of the death penalty the State does not dispose of the individual’s right to life. Rather public authority limits itself to depriving the offender of the good of life in expiation for his guilt, after he, through his crime, deprived himself of his own right to life” (Pope Pius XII's Address to the First International Congress of Histopathology of the Nervous System, September 14, 1952).

So who's smarter than Pope Pius XII? The modernist Pope Francis of course!

Cardinal Ratzinger refused the extended invitation to participate in the abomination of Assisi II.

By the way, Beroglio, in one of his hissy fits, refused to attend a synod called for by Pope Benedict.

Pope Francis' run-in with Benedict XVI over the Prophet Mohammed

Reacting to the threats from Rome, Cardinal Bergoglio cancelled his plans to fly to Rome, choosing to boycott the second synod that Pope Benedict had called during his tenure as pontiff.

So much for a "Humble" Jorge.

But I guess the pope du jour is always the smartest pope.

Right, Captain?

Cardinal Burke: There are times when a Pope must be disobeyed

And I think many of us are aware of the Dictator Bergolio's treatment of the good Cardinal Burke.

So much for "francismercy".

And it's not over, captain.

But then again, who's smarter then the pope, captain?

Nobody!

The SSPX Is Not in Schism

In the previous article (Part 1) we explained how the authoritative judgment of the Catholic Church is that the SSPX is not in schism. Nevertheless, some critics accepting this judgment persist in suggesting that the SSPX is materially schismatic. Although such distinctions may seem confusing to rank and file Catholics, it may be helpful to refute this specious argument as well.

You don’t know what you’re talking about.

The Catholic Church allows Catholics to receive Holy Communion in SSPX churches. The Catholic Church even allows Catholics to receive Holy Communion in the Orthodox churches (who are in schism with Rome), although the Orthodox themselves will not knowingly allow Holy Communion to Catholics.

As far as your other false claim about the SSPX being schismatic, see Post #92.
