My other favorite quote, from Jordan Peterson is
“If religion is the opiate of the masses, then Marxism is the crack cocaine”
It always has been and always will be. Broad is the path that leads to destruction, and many there are that follow it.
Thankfully though, despite massive attempts to annihilate religion, true Christianity has stood the test of time because it has God as its protection. Try as they might, the irreligious can not stamp it out no matter how brutal they become towards God’s people.
Could you provide a few examples of untrue Christianity?
Jim Jones and his gang.
There’s a stairway to heaven and a highway to hell.
There’s al. Kinds of faux “christians” out there- if you aren’t aware of that by now, I don’t know what to tell you. The internet has ample evidence of it readily available.
It makes sense that the fattest, most passively entertained and comfortable people in all of history also have the least faith. It seems to simply be following human nature and history.
“By tuning in to diversionary pleasures, we are actually tuning out; we are all addicts of the momentary rush of dopamine that sundry amusement, from jogging to drug use, gives us.”
If I had to choose, I’d prefer more jogging culture and less screen culture. We are probably way closer to something like Brave New World than 1984, in my opinion.

Yup. Also, Many will stand before Christ claiming to have been Christians, and Christ Will Say to them “depart, I never knew you”. While.there will be billions who have truly been saved, many more billions choose the highway to hell.
It's two worlds; those seeking somma in their four walls of artificial reality and those embracing all the education available from other regular individuals online and then going out and doing it.
During the Scamdemic, television viewing went down while barbecue grills, bicycles, and firearms got harder and harder to find.
So, you can't tell me, but the internet can? I think I'm beginning to see problem.
During the ascendancy of progressive thought in the early 20th century, G.K. Chesterton said something to the effect of (and I'm paraphrasing here):
I've been asked many times why I cling to an ancient and antiquated faith. I believe it precisely because it is ancient and antiquated. Unlike any other belief system it has been tried, tested, persecuted, prosecuted, assailed, scorned, and subjected to the greatest scrutiny, and yet in the face of all that, it has endured.
Grills,
Bicycles and Guns.
Good point.
Scientism is becoming a religion. It will be the opiate of the masses. Already on this round of nonsense in the world, we had “officials” saying “Trust the science” and Fauci claiming he “represents science”. Fauci is the high priest of scientism.
Theres no problem at all. I can, but if you TRULY are jnterested in finding the answers, and not just wanting to play gotcha games which you think you win but In The end don’t, then it would be better for you to go find out for yourself. There are multiple examples of false Christianity for your perusal online. Knock yourself out.

Yup, it’s hard to reconcile exercise equipment being sold out all during the plandemic while the obesity rate supposedly rose into the low 40% ranges for the first time ever. It was already weird with the poor being the most likely to be obese and the rich being the most likely to be thin.
Remember how many predicted a sharp uptick in births after the lockdowns? Maybe that would have happened in the 30s or 40s. But the birth rate supposedly has plummeted, probably due to the availability of passive screen entertainment, uncertainty and readily accessible birth control.

Good quote, and very true. True Christianity has stood the test of time because our God is timeless and protects us, and keeps us until that day.
Oh, brilliant. I hope I remember that one.
Not really. True Christians are, those whom, christ will tell “well done thou good an faithful servant. False religions claiming to be Christian adopt the title Christian, but they aren’t true Christians.
