The rest of the world’s peoples balked at God and said “no” to the opportunity to receive the Torah, which includes the 10 commandments.
All together there are 613 commandments outlined in the Torah - some are things to do (”positive commandments”) and some are things to definitely not do (”negative commandments”).
For instance, and timely as the propagandists go wild this week calling “sin” by the 180 degree wrong misnomer “pride,” a male having sexual relations (i.e, lying with) with another male is strictly forbidden - a cardinal sin.

What always amazed me is that through the various calendars from the Hebrews, through the Julian Calendar, the Gregorian Calendar, and even the Muslim calendar, EVERYone agrees when Saturday and Sunday are. The French revolutionaries were able to make the metric system stick for much of the world, but not their idiotic metric calendar.

Why do I feel one leg is longer than the other? The silly French did not really try to make a metric calendar, did they? Did they have 100 seconds in a minute and 10 hours in a day?

Each day in the Republican Calendar was divided into ten hours, each hour into 100 decimal minutes, and each decimal minute into 100 decimal seconds. There were twelve months, each divided into three ten-day weeks called décades. The tenth day, décadi, replaced Sunday as the day of rest and festivity. The five or six extra days needed to approximate the solar or tropical year were placed after the months at the end of each year and called complementary days. This arrangement was an almost exact copy of the calendar used by the Ancient Egyptians, though in their case the beginning of the year was not marked by the autumnal equinox.

On Mother's Day, Mrs. Phoebe started building her nest in the corner of the framing that is just above my front door. A total of 4 eggs was reached on May 21, making the ETA for baby birds on Sunday. Now a quick peek just once a day so we'll know the birthday.

Muslims have their own calendar:
“As of 10 August 2021 CE, the current Islamic year is 1443 AH. In the Gregorian calendar reckoning, 1443 AH runs from approximately 10 August 2021 to 28 July 2022.” and their years are shorter (lunar, not solar based), which is why Ramadan moves around.
It was hard enough for the Communists in the USSR to move off the Julian calendar.
Ezekiel 46
Thus saith the Lord GOD: The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath day it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
They all agree because they all ignore the instructions Ezekiel received..

If there was a temple in Jerusalem, some priest would be responsible for the gate.
And have a problem trying to figure out what to do on the Day of the New Moon.
The above is the template that is found in the scriptures.
It’s also the template that proves Passover,the 14th Day, isn’t Friday every year, but it is His 6th work day, every month and every year.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will go bye bye someday.
And Passover, Unleavened Bread and First Fruits, His 14th,15th,16th days will be restored to it’s proper place as His 6th, Sabbath,1st days..
The Apostle Saul/Paul described this is the first/chief importance of the gospel.
Probably why Satan counterfeits it with his Friday, Saturday, Sunday..
EVERYone agrees with Satan’s version because there is no priest in Jerusalem responsible for shutting and opening the inner gate facing East..
That priest would have a real problem squeezing 8 days into Satan’s 7.
The Sovereign doesn’t use Satan’s 7 that EVERYone uses.
He uses His Sun,Moon,Stars, His Word and His Son, to tell time.
And the New Moon Day isn’t one of His 6 work days or His Sabbath, just like Ezekiel was instructed.
It’s a set apart day for His Purposes and His Glory.
Like the Head of every month.
And in the middle of every month, stands a Lamb, the Passover Lamb slain..
Quite a Revelation.
