He is!! A true genetic genius who gave all his gifts for God to use! He lived a total Gal. 2:20 life for Jesus; got to know him through the years etc; he was the real deal!

It is generally agreed that Elijah will be one. (Yes even subscribe to this post of view reflect in their empty chair passover tradition. In Matthew 12:11 and Mark 9 Jesus gave credence to Elijah making a second appearance.) Malachi endorsed the idea as wellImo, a preponderance of dispensationalist teachers would likely favor Moses as the second witness. The very peculiar struggle between Archangel Michael and Satan over the deceased body of Moses somehow factors into this.
At the Mount of Transfiguration both of these men were present with the Lord to talk about His departure. (Luke 9)
What is puzzling is how the two will suddenly appear.
His creation teaching is very good. I’ve gleaned much from him.
It’s a conclusion drawn on verse, not an actual fact.
The conclusion is
Enoch and Elijah.
Because neither died.
The verse in view is “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” Heb 9:27
Now for the Spoiler (mine)...Ok, so if Heb 9:27 is telling us the 2 witnesses must have never died before and assuming the 2 witnesses are OT, then ergo it must be Enoch and Elijah.... and bob’s your uncle!
Except, what do you do with the NT people who were raised from the dead? (Chiefly Lazarus, Tabitha, Dorcus, etc). Well, those people died again (they are not here today right?) So out goes the supposition that Heb 9:27 is a RULE of God, rather it is talking about the general nature of man.
This is a prime example of how going PAST what scripture says actually can set you up for a big fall.
The real answer is less satisfying.....No person (other than God and perhaps his angels) know.

Of course the Rapture generation of believers will not die. Many say that the Gentile Enoch foreshadows them.
Again, let’s not go further than scripture says.

The scripture does not say that.
It says we will be “caught up” in the air with the Lord.
Don’t we know we will get new bodies that are incorruptible?
Why do you want to drag the old one around if you are raptured?
The popular idea of people “disappearing” - where is that in scripture? What if we suddenly went OUT of our bodies and into our new celestial bodies and were with the Lord in the twinkling of an eye?
I don’t know about you, but I am ready for my new body. What happens with the old one? Well it probably won’t blink out of existence.

Could be Enoch and Elijah, who were taken up; or two that come out of the Tribulation.
Yup...it still could be a drunk and drug addict that get saved and then God “raises them up in power and spirit” to be his witnesses.

Yes it will probably be Elijah and or Moses or Enoch...
but who knows!
