With the tragedy and impact on the US of the recent hurricanes, let us not lose our focus. While America will aide the needy, there are more important things: illegal immigration.
With both parties raising the cost of compassion (and giving away $BILLIONS$ to people who should have had flood insurance) the borders are still wide open.
Illegal immigration is not a victumless crime. It personally impacts you. Just one small aspect is all the horrendus crimes illegals are commiting against law abiding citizens. See:

I'll bet most of the readers on this forum never considered female genital mutilation (circumcision) or woman's liberation an illegal immigration problem but it is.

Then there are the health issues. Illegal immigrants are bringing and spreading multi-drug-resistant TB, Hansens's Disease (LEPORSY!), American Trypanosomiasis(Chagas - the kissing bug disease), hepatitus, Dengue Fever, Malaria, and the list goes on and on.

The bottom line is that it is estimated that EACH illegal immigrant costs US taxpayers $70,000 more than they pay in taxes. That doesn't even count the costs on the health system with scores of hospitals having to close because they have so many unpaid bills.
Even if we didn't have an ongoing an long term war against Islamists who would love to sneak a small nuke across the border and blow up a major city, and damage from two costly hurricanes, we can't afford illegal immigration. As the land of the free and hope of the world, we can, and should, absorb LEGAL immigrants, but by God I want the entry level worker in a restruant to have been medically screened before they start handling my food.
And I want the borders closed before some Muslim terrorist can sneak a nuke across the open borders and detonate it in my city.
also, don't forget the problem with drugs. Any bets this guy is an illegal?

As far as illegal immigration, I never forget about it. I'm surrounded by it.
For decades the federal government has been encroaching on states' rights thanks to the SCOTUS. They are now at the point where they have accumulated so much authority that their bloated bureaucracies are mired in red tape. They cannot react ... they are ineffective. It's time for the states to take back the rights reserved for them in the constitution. Texas can and should deport illegals. Arizona can and should prosecute employers who knowingly hire illegals. The states must take the initiative .... the federal government is more interested in party politics than doing the job they are being paid to do.
Increased Crime / B&E.
Skyrocketing property taxes.
Overflowing medical facilities.....the list would number in the hundreds....

The United States of America is like a wild animal that has been gut shot. It keeps running but doesn't realize that it is dead. Illegal immigration is the fatal shot. The question is how long do we have before our quality of life is completely eroded???

well i just wanted to say that this may be a lie. it has been proven that immigration actually helps the economy because i don't think any one alse is willing to go work out in a field in a 102 degree day. they help bring those wonderful fruit to the table everyday. and plus, almost everyone buys the stuff that the immigrants make. in my opinion i don't think you should judge the "illegal immigrants" as much as you do.
Legal immigration is good for the economy. Illegal immigration is lawbreaking, pure and simple. We don't need illegal aliens in the United States for any reason. Any illegal alien currently working in the United States can be replaced by an American worker or a legal immigrant worker without any harmful effect to the economy.

Millions of Americans work in the fields every day, planting, raising, and picking our fruits and vegetables, and bringing them to our tables. These Americans, who work in all kinds of weather, including 102 degree days, are the people who I buy my fruits and vegetables from.
in my opinion i don't think you should judge the "illegal immigrants" as much as you do.
Illegal aliens should be judged for what they are, lawbreakers.
