Trying to create a scandal over Republican presidential candidate John McCain's failure to rebuke a woman supporter who called Hillary Clinton a bitch, CNN's Rick Sanchez led Tuesday night's Out in the Open with what he insisted was the relevant and newsworthy topic as he seriously asked: Is John McCain done as a result of this? He later speculated: Is his campaign dead in the water?
Betraying the skew of those at CNN, Sanchez told guest Amy Holmes: He could be in trouble for this from women, especially the ones that've been talking to me today in our newsroom who heard this and were offended. Sanchez's spin matched that of left-wing bloggers, a story in Wednesday's New York Times revealed: The clip began showing on Web sites like Salon.com, the liberal site TPM.com and others, with bloggers asking why Mr. McCain had not taken the questioner to task.
Setting up the video, Sanchez haughtily intoned: You're going to hear a McCain supporter. She refers to Hillary Clinton using really what is a horrible word that is used to do nothing but demean women. Well, at the time, it was a supporter who said that. It wasn't until later on, when we watched the whole tape, which is what you're about to see, that you see McCain's reaction, or lack thereof, that we decided that this is both relevant and newsworthy, and important information to this campaign.
An older woman at an event in South Carolina had asked: How do we beat the bitch? An appalled Sanchez complained: He says 'that's an excellent question,' after somebody refers to Hillary Clinton as a B-word which rhymes with witch.

Attempting to drag down McCain by associating him to something he’s not responsible for, which is minor in the grand scheme; playing the shocked and hurt feelings game based on this this, only goes to show how trivial, how fake, and how biased this Sanchez and his show are.
If McCain has to apologize for the words of another person he has no control over, so should Sanchez for the actions of the Spanish during their colonial reign in the America’s. Sanchez after all is a Spanish name, so he's personally culpable, right? What he's trying to do belongs in a comedy show. It's something I expect to see when watching Monty Python. Are you sure CNN and this Sanchez guy are not pulling your leg?
And just how many female CNN employees would have voted for McCain, if this had not happened?
Mister DUI-hitting-a-pedestrian-leaving-the-scene-and-returning-later-pedestrian-hit-died getting all huffy, self-righteous and pompous to try and make a big scandal. Mister gets-all-”outraged”-at-any-reference-to-illegals-as-being-”racist” gets his drawers in an uproar! What a phoney-baloney! I watched him once, when he had Lou Dobbs as a guest. He tried like hell to paint Lou as some sort of anti-immigrant, nativist hater, but Lou stood right up to Mister-DUI-manslaughter and didn’t back down. Lou dished it right back at him. When I watch Lou in the evenings, when the upcoming Out in the Open segment is shown, Sanchez is all buttery with the “buddy” talk - Lou is gracious like the gentleman he is, but I doubt he buys Sanchez’s “buddy” talk at him for one minute.
Sanchez is phonier than instant grits.
LOL
Hahahaaa! And I suppose this scumbag Sanchez was righteously indignant about his people (Democrat activists) calling Bush a “Nazi”?
Sanchez was simply exercising one his “cultural prerogatives” — specifically the one of Driving while DRUNK...
I’m beginning to believe it’s a “cultural thing”....
In Kalifornicate - I’ve been struck twice by, get this:
Illegal Mexican aliens driving drunk out of their skulls, who hit me in the rear as I was STOPPED at a light and Stop Sign, while they were “driving” in a stolen car, no drivers license from ANY country or state, no insurance and in BOTH cases left the scene of the accident and had to be chased by citizens who called the police from their cell phones..
In BOTH cases - they were caught..
I have NO IDEA of any consequences for the sonsuvbitches, but they are indeed fortunate that I didn’t get the opportunity to confront the bastards...
Without doubt - there would have been two instances of “road rage” homicide.
Senator John McCain... said, "D'oh!"
He then explained he thought... the supporter has said Hillary was a 'Witch.'
"I've know bitches all my life," says... Mr. Peabody, "And Hillary is one!"
On vacation in Crawford, Texas... President Bush had no comment.
Yet in an undisclosed place... Vice President Cheney said he found Hillary to be a little bitchy.
Secretary of State Condi Rice... agreed.
Formmer President Clinton said... "I like to screw interns, but I never called then bitches!"
Actor Leslie Nielsen, who played President Baxter Harris... in Scary Movie 4 said, "There goes that duck again!"
Film... at 11!

"A B-word which rhymes with witch. ?
Oooohhhh...McCain is finished.
He could end up in H-E- double toothpicks.(snicker)
Well I guess McCain has lost the CNN newsroom employee vote.
I think Sanchez is the S-word that rhymes with Cupid and a J-word that rhymes with perk.He is obviously a Hillary S-word that rhymes with reporter and his whole segment was the d-word that rhymes with plum.
My day's going okay.
Guess Hillary is having... a bitch of a day, eh?
sw
Since when did “bitch” attain the notoriety of “nigger”? SSZ
Glad your day is going well. My day is work, work, work. Off all of next week to give thanks for having all of the week off. ;-)
The thing is that I suspect many of the people who will vote for Hillary are not shocked at her being called a bitch.
No and yes, respectively. McCain was NEVER a serious contender, despite the lying media claims that he was a "frontrunner" for months.
