Barry Obama has slipped on his own faith by saying "John McCain has not... talked about... My muslim faith"
Of which Stephanopolous carried the water and corrected him by saying "Christian faith".
I think this is a VERY telling freudian slip by Barrack.
I did watch the video and sent it to my mailing list..And ask them to send it on..
One great thing that will come out of this will be that it should give McCain/Palin a get-out-of-jail-free card if they are to make a similar slip. For example, remember McCain slipped and said he was a liberal in one speech. This would guarantee that the left wouldn’t get traction if he makes another such slip of the tongue.
I have long feared that in the debates McCain will innocently say something like, “boy let me tell you...”, a common phrase used to add emphasis. But 0bama’s media will jump all over that as being racist, spouting that McCain just called 0bama “boy”.
Having examples of “passes” given by the media on 0bama’s slips will go a long way in countering such spurious accusations, so in that regard this muslim-gate money quote could prove useful.

Does anyone remember that special that aired on one of the cable channels about the danger of Islam? They were screaming stuff in Islam and also English. They were saying we will take the White House. We will go all the way to the White House and take it and that they were than going to slaughter infidels, etc etc etc.
I haven’t seen him in nice suits in about a week.

It’s not the quotes thenselves, it’s that this is YET ANOTHER in a continuously running series of gaffes by “the Smartest Man in the WORLD!”...
He’s only a brilliant orator when he’s reading from a teleprompter—which is why he turned down McCain’s request for a series of townhall meetings. All he was trying to say was that McCain has not referred to him being a muslim. You’re right that he did not say it that way, though, but everyone knew what he meant.
I don’t mind trying to make something out of this kind of thing, though, because the effect of it is that he’s running scared, and afraid to say anything. He talks very slowly and deliberately, trying to avoid making a mistake of phraseology. And that reduces the impact of his message.
Islam allows its adherents to say anything at all to infidels if it advances Islam or the individual Moslem or family or group. Sort of like the Liberalic Religion.
