Note that we can't really even tell how long solar cycle 23 was (is) --- since it (cycle 23) has not yet "stopped" yet. At best, we are mired in the dead period between cycle 23 and 24.

Cycle 24 refuses to begin - Dr Hathawy of NASA has already changed his prediction four times. It was originally to have begun ramping up in late 2006.

Note that the impending 53 trillion dollar democrat-debt for Medicare and Social Security becomes due in 2030 and 2050, but the democrats and their MSM are claiming that a (potential) 1/2 of one degree rise in temperatures by 2050 is immediate catastrophy that requires action this year!
