Hattie, as I understand it TX has NEVER had registration by party. One picks his primary on election day or now during the early voting period.I stand corrected. Moved to TX in 1960, must have been NE that had that requirement.

If the media’s already calling the Dem race for White, that’s a no-brainer, too. White’s toughest opponent was absolutely nuts. Certifiable.

Never mind! It took me a minute to figure it out.
Funny that you mention that. I freind of mine at work, his family has been here somewhere in the neighborhood of the early 1800’s , from Mexico, and he brought it up to me today that it is Indepedence Day. A co-worker who moved from FL. recently asked if he could celebrate, so I asked my freind, who said, “No, I don’t think so”. I fell out laughing.
