He says he zoomed in and out at that portion of the video. The pic in #111 shows how far out he could zoom. He also speaks of how long he "viewed the object."
He videotaped the contrail for a total of ten minutes and subsequently continued to view the contrail for an additional ten minutes. Leyvas maintains that the object itself that created the contrail only remained in view for two to three minutes. For 30 to 45 seconds, the object glowed brightly and then seemed to disappear from view.
It's OK to pay attention. UFB!
It seems to me that you ain’t got jack and just admitted it by setting a double standard for applying your premises to the subject.
That would have been my guess that UPS flies 3 engine jets, but I didn’t go look to see what they fly. As for this subject, I haven’t seen conclusive proof what made the contrail. I’ll go with unknown.
I think it is not the WND article which Dr. Brian Kopp clearly stated in the opening of this thread. He's not confused about that why are you?
See #165. UFB!
In #60. What is the black object that appears in the red dots, upper left, after moving thru them in the middle images?

Your post #48 made me laugh out loud. Good job.
It’s not a black object. It’s the dark red contrail, similar to the right picture in #107.
Yes, but that portion of the video spans several minutes during which time the plane would have traveled a fairly long distance. We don't know when during that time he was pointed & zoomed in such a way that the plane could have been visible.
And I'm trying to remember what the point of this line of reasoning was. Are you saying that the Warren pics actually show the vehicle traveling only upwards or even out to sea as some have claimed?
By the way, I just drove half way across the continent and saw multiple contrails that looked every bit as much the “missile launch” as the one in question here.
It’s amazing how many folks think they live in a two-dimensional, flat world.
Well I’m glad you liked it. It sent poor Finny into total meltdown:

Check out this Google Earth video of this event:

I can even show you where to download the Google Earth files used ito create that video, so you can try it for yourself. (BTW, all those "graphic contrail models" in the video are at 30K+ feet-- parallel to the (curved) surface of the Earth.) Watching perspective make them appear to rise from the surface at the horizon is very convicing...
Let me know if you want the files so you can run them on Google Earth for yourself...
So no real argument then?
If not then I think we should invoke cloture.
Who's got the gavel?
Magic Hour #2
The first magic hour is fairly well known in photography. What I call magic hour #2 is probably not as well recognized by photographers. Magic Hour #2 is also composed of two, approximately, half hour periods. The first period is the half hour before the sun rises above the horizon in the morning. The second period is the half hour after the sun sinks below the horizon in the early evening. Typically, the most intense colors occur about twenty minutes before sunrise or after sunset. Depending on atmospheric conditions, magic hour #2 can produce two different types of lighting conditions. The first type of light is as follows:
Color: The light is very warm and produces very saturated colors.
Quality: The light is soft.
Direction: The light directly illuminates clouds from below. Everything else is in shadow.
No, reread it. He specifically is speaking of The separate smaller trail that is separate from the main body of the plume and that was captured by Warren in his photos,..."
No, you don't seem to have one. Other than the crayon drawings and the swiss cheese points and the double standard premises.
See? Even I can make fun of your posts without adding anything of substance. You're not the only one.
Leyvas answers that in the inetrview: It was sweeps week -- so CBS used a tiny fraction of his video (only 12-14 seconds) to fabricate a phony news event by making a confusing video that suckered lots of knowledegable folks (and not a few gullible FReepers...)
