Restoring social justice. Doesn’t it thrill you to the point of wetting your pants? Or getting the dry heaves?

Probably a good idea, since there’s not likely a person among them headed to manhood, from what we’re seeing.

It must be nice to have so few difficulties in life that you have to search feverishly to come up with something, anything to quibble over.

Are the students as stupid as the school? If not, the school will certainly do everything it can to dumb them down.

Personally, I never really liked the term 'freshman'. I do not recall that term being used in Canada, during my lifetime at least. I've always heard the phrase 'first year student's used.
As far as the reason for the change requested by the Easthampton High School 'Gender and Sexuality Alliance Group', in the immortal words of Mr. A. Bunker, I say,

This has been the case at colleges for many, many years.

In corporate America, a new employee just out of college is referred to as early in career. Ridiculous

In related news, the Collegiate Forum For Naming Things, CFFNT, in light of the term Master being part of the master-slave duality, has rescinded the title Master’s Degree.
In future, Master’s Degree will be referred to as Bachelor Number Two.

Easthampton H.S. students to use the term first year students instead of freshmenWhy?
Was the term, "ignorant dunces" already spoken for?
Not only would that term be 'gender neutral' but it would also be factually correct...
