Permitting muslims of any race to serve in the US military is utter f*cking insanity. Having some as contractors serving as interpreters is a necessary evil. They are much worse than the homos and that takes you pretty far over the cliff.

That was my first thought as well. It seems like she should be able to honor both her religious tradition and the Army - at least with respect to hair regulations.
Since this is a volunteer military, she has no grounds.
Muslims and other hard core leftists demand equality until they get caught breaking the rules and then grab the first crutch available to sue....race, religion, sex, etc. She should know the courts are loath to interfere with military discipline. Whoever decided hijabs were ok for the Army is partially to blame for this as well. Are they allowing Christians to wear crosses outside their uniforms too?
