Pennsylvania Poll: Biden up by 2 points; riots moving the needle...
Susquehanna Poll ^ | September 8, 2020 | Vanity

Biden 44%, Trump 42%: Perhaps the below finding of the poll explains why Biden is now speaking out against the violence/looting:

"Momentum for Donald Trump in the current poll seems to be the result of a surge in voters who believe 'restoring law and order” to U.S. cities facing looting, rioting and violent protests should be a top priority for federal lawmakers.'"

Susquhanna, along with Trafalgar, was fairly accurate in Pennsylvania in 2016. Susquehanna's final poll result was Clinton 46, Trump 44. This is a GREAT poll for Trump in a state he needs to win. Discuss.

Anyone should be able to see how the propaganda is being done here.

The Biden riots are scaring voters against him.

Momentum for Trump is not based only on the riots. People are taking the election more seriously as it approaches, and they are starting to realize what an awful candidate Biden is.

That and the fact that it probably doesn't make sense to turn over the most powerful nation in the world to a man with dementia.

Don’t worry about the polls. Get Trump 3M votes in PA for the win. Hitting that number needs to be the focus.

I was looking at the ravings of a never-Trumper on here back in 2016, and among the ravings was a false claim that Trump was suffering from dementia.

You have a point, but these riots have caused Biden’s semi-soft support to crater. Quite frankly, I don’t think the Dems/media realize just how bad the riots, etc. have impacted Biden’s chances. When libs think of “the suburbs,” they think of NOVA or Westchester County, NY, where wishy-washy conflicted whites hang BLM signs. When I think of suburbs, I think of areas where whites fled over the last 50 years to get away from riots, crime, urban blacks, etc. There is nothing like a riot to send suburban moms back into Trump’s arms.

I live in Western PA. There has been a deluge of Biden ads running on local TV here. Last night I could swear at least two aired during each commercial break during the evening news. Not a single Trump ad.

I like the way things are going. I wonder how many are silent Trump voters and given the massive enthusiasm gap, how many of Biden’s will just not bother to show up. Still, the next two months need to continue the trend of the last month.

Maybe so but this adds up to 86 percent. Where does the other 16 percent go?

The margin of error for a sample size of 498 interviews is +/-4.3% at the 95% confidence level.

I trust local pollsters far more than national polling companies. Also, I look at polls more as a way to show “trends” than for actual, finite numbers. In this case, the trend is towards Trump, and that’s a good thing!

“Not a single Trump ad.”

it’s really not clear how much TV advertising works anymore ... hillary spent a billion dollars doing that and lost

that being said, i suspect Trump is keeping his power dry ... hopefully they’ll produce MANY hard-hitting ads and not just play the same ones over and over again because folks totally tune ads like that out after seeing them the first time ...
