The president was speaking truth at the beginning when he said “by Easter” (which was April 12) we need to get people back to church and get things back up and running. I don’t think his heart was even in that, but he was playing along with the lies told by Fauci and Birx about 2 million people dropping dead in the next three months. They had him in a corner and there was nothing else he could really do at that point.
Since then, all the nonsense about masks being “patriotic” and whatever else, has all been lip-service to placate frightened soccer moms.
A lot of people just are not very smart (see my tagline), but their vote counts as much as anyone else’s.
These are the people and things he has to deal with to get re-elected. The opposition’s entire base of operation is lies, projection, and obfuscation. He has no choice but to get in the mud, wrestle the pigs, and try to come out on top.
Here’s what I posted way back in July, half a life ago it seems...
I didn’t know anything about the cycle threshold value though:
WORLDOMETER COVID-19 Deaths in USA 7/23/2020: 1,150 with 69,116 new cases

Theres debate about the accuracy of the PCR test also.
Its found that our own T-cells can kill the virus with no help.
When that happens, remnants of the shattered virus cells exist in the body. PCR will multiply these remnants into a full virus cell, and yield a positive result when the virus has actually been already killed by the bodys own defenses.
Thats what asymptomatic cases really are. You test positive but are not sick. Your body had already killed the virus and you will not spread it.
PCR multiplies the DNA of the shattered virus cells to result in a positive result.
We need a better test.
The studies I’ve seen indicate asymptomatic people are responsible for 1% or less of transmission. I know three couples where one person had COVID - without symptoms. The other person did not catch it in spite of living as man & wife.
It may not be impossible for a person without symptoms to transmit the disease, but it seems it is uncommon and not high enough to justify exhaustive measures of prevention. Particularly since someone in their 40s who catches the disease has a 99.98% chance of survival.
+1
The disease has been consequential; the reactions to the the disease have brought even more devastating consquences.
Yessirree, this is "science"!
The entire world needs to use a standard number of cycles to determine if someone gets a positive result. The world also needs a standard way of determining whether a person died of coronavirus. Early on I was aware that Germany does not declare someones death from coronavirus unless it was the only health problem that person had. In the USA anyone who is found with any coronavirus, even in the autopsy, gets counted as a C virus stuff. That is ridiculous.
Was in the grocery store last week. Someone coughed and you should have seen other people’s expressions. I said not too loud, but loud enough that a few people heard “For gosh sakes he coughed, please go home if you can’t deal with a human REFLEX”
Just shook my head and walked away. A woman came up to me and said “thank you”. I said I was embarrassed I even needed to say anything and said people are becoming incapable of thinking rationally.
gas_dr Is not a FearBro. Dispute details if you must but aim your fire at the opposition. Youre both on the same side of the battlefield.
It would be useful to see a scatter plot of say 10 000 PCR CT results.
Why say many could be when we have the data?
