Mar-a-Lago documents inadvertently published online — and undercut Trump’s privilege claims
Salon ^

Posted on 10/05/2022 1:05:05 PM PDT by Toughluck_freeper

This is an excerpt: "The Justice Department's detailed lists of seized materials from former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence were inadvertently published online on Tuesday" This is an excerpt: "The filing, which is no longer publicly visible, included a combination of government, business and personal documents. Some of these records included analysis of who should get a pardon, retainer agreements for lawyers and accountants as well as legal bills."

How in the world are the documents 'safer' in the hands of the DOJ than in than the possession of President Trump?

Are the 'leaks' going to intensify? When will the DOJ 'inadvertently' release all the confidential tax returns of president Trump? what about his medical records? Will they time it as a constant drip-drip of confidential information? or release all 11,000 documents, 200,000 pages in one large 'hacked leak'?

The DOJ is so completely corrupt now a days.

It is an unfailing fact, if a government or media or tech_social_provider puts out info on an ‘oopsie’, it is almost always against a conservative, not a LEFTist. Strange how that happens, almost like it is intentional rather than inadvertent!

Keep that in mind for our future years of 87k new IRS agents. Wonder how these people are vetted for these job? Over the past 30 years or since you first voted, how many ‘D’onkey Party candidates did you not vote for?

“DOJ inadvertently releases Trump’s Mar-a-Lago documents”

DOJ deliberately releases Trump’s Mar-a-Lago documents

There, fixed it

From what I have seen on TheirTube videos they could have walked into a McDonalds and yelled "who wants a job?

The DOJ / FBI is corrupt and at this point they don’t even try to hide it.

Since it’s Trump’s-classified-documents-at-his-home all the time now, can we assume that all of the other attacks haven’t dug up squat?

Well, with a document list like that it’s no wonder the DoJ needed to raid Mar-a-Lago! It’s nearly as damning as that tax return Maddow got her hands on.

Everyone needs to quit chasing rabbits.. its simple. Trump as president has the ultimate authority to declassify documents. he needs no approval ,and has to follow no process.. this is backed by the constitution, previous SCOTUS rulings, and Obama’s 2009 executive order.

So privilege, doesn’t matter.

Under the presidential records act, he has the authority to take anything he wants with him... and there are no criminal statues for violating the records act.

Bush, Clinton, Obama all did the same or worse. No one raided their homes.

Simple. If Trump says he declassified them, they are... no documentation needed. Although the letter declassifying the Russion collusion/crossfire hurricane documents is in the public domain.

Yes! I we should all be over this to the point of revolt. There is no real justice in our country and we all know it. President Trump is being so railroaded and persecuted that the whole world sees it and knows it and no one is doing a darn thing about it.

“The Justice Department’s detailed lists of seized materials from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence were inadvertently published online on Tuesday”.

This is a really complicated story/problem that goes back to Watergate, and maybe to the Elm Street/triple underpass/Stemmons Freeway/Grassy Knoll.

A strict interpretation of Article II would say (I think) that there is no one and nothing that issues from the Executive Branch or from serving officers in the Army and Navy that does not come directly from, or more exactly is not under the direct control of the President. Nothing. This is referred to in our Constitutional theory as the “unitary executive”.

Congress has never liked this. In the Westminster System, if the Legislature does not pass a budget (denies “supply”), the Executive resigns.

But what is new since 1945 is that certain agencies of the Executive Branch REALLY don’t like it. Just like they want a “rules based international order”, they also want a “rules based Presidency”, where, if they do not approve of a specific action of a President, or just the man himself, they can act independently and even conspire to prevent his actions.

Robert Mueller, pick up the white courtesy phone. Alexander Vindman, the CIA is calling.
