A mother in Connecticut was arrested and charged with driving under the influence while she dropped her child off at middle school Monday, according to authorities.
Christina Morrissette, 33, of Mashantucket, was taken into custody shortly before noon when police were alerted to an intoxicated person at Ledyard Middle School, the Hartford Courant reported.
Morrissette allegedly pulled into the parent drop-off area and started “behaving erratically” while dropping off her child, the outlet said, citing school officials.
Morrissette then failed multiple field sobriety tests and was charged with driving under the influence and risk of injury to a minor.
Her bond was set at $7,500, the Hartford Courant wrote.
The Ledyard Police Department did not immediately reply to The Post’s request for a comment on the case.

Well, to be fair, you can’t claim to drink all day long unless you start early in the morning.

School starts at noon? Or did she need to get herself straight before dropping off the kids?
To be fair, if a cop pulls you over and asks where you’re from and you say “Mashantucket” he’s going to suspect that you’re drunk.
Doesn’t matter ‘cause it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.

It said “middle school”. Isn’t that 7th and 8th grades? Maybe they had an Al-Anon meeting for kids.
I feel bad for the kid. We all know how kindhearted and understanding the kid's junior high school classmates will be in a situation like this.
