Pfizer is sued by Texas over COVID vaccine claims

(Reuters) - Pfizer has been sued by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who on Thursday accused the drugmaker of misrepresenting the efficacy of its widely-used COVID-19 vaccine.

In a complaint filed in a Lubbock County state court, Paxton said it was misleading for Pfizer to claim its vaccine was 95% effective because it offered a "relative risk reduction" for people to who took it

Paxton said the claim was based on only two months of clinical trial data, and vaccine recipients' "absolute risk reduction" showed that the vaccine was just 0.85% effective.

He also said the pandemic got worse even after people started taking the vaccine, developed by Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech.

"Pfizer intentionally misrepresented the efficacy of its COVID-19 vaccine and censored persons who threatened to disseminate the truth in order to facilitate fast adoption of the product and expand its commercial opportunity," the complaint said.

Is Paxton running for office?

No. He just won re-election for his third 4 year term. Most of this year was wasted on false impeachment charges. Texas law requires the impeachment target to step down from any duties until the State Senate finishes its trial phase. He was acquitted by the Senate.

AG Paxton has a stellar record suing and winning against the Biden administration. Is there any wonder he was targeted?

And what about antibiotics?

Antibiotics are administer and put in our food stock.
This is what is causing a rise in “untreatable” infections.
Also what is causing a lot of disease due to killing out the BENEFICIAL bacteria (like in our gut). Did you know that 90% of the serotonin in your body is manufactured by symbiotic bacteria in the gut?

Now perhaps you understand the rise in needing to dose people for depression and other mental illness?

Antibiotics should NOT be given at the drop of a hat - for example some docs give them for viral infection - they don’t even work for that and they cause your ability to leverage them when you really need them to decline.

Your sure sound like a Dem.

Have you seen the polls? It is Dems who support the narrative, the cv19vx, mandates and the like. It is Dems who worship “the science”. In the Texas House, it is the Dems who are against medical freedom. I don’t know a single Republican who thinks the clot shots work. All the ones who care to express their view greatly regret taking it.

When the day(s) of justice come, we can hope that all you accessories to murder are brought to justice and given the appropriate penalty for your actions and words.

Antibiotics are a whole different thing-they are based on chemicals found in nature and developed to neutralize germs/bacteria found in nature. Not all of them work for all people, but there is a wide variety of them-they were developed with the correct assumption that one size does not fit all. You don’t see ads on TV from lawyers telling you to call them if you took a certain antibiotic-there is no profit in that...

That is not true with most other drugs-they are developed as mostly-lab created chemicals with the ASSumption that they will work for almost anyone-that is why the price is so high-it is almost certain that lawsuits will soon be filed because some people will be injured or die soon after the new drug hits the market-that is why there are all those sue-your-ass-off commercials for medical injury lawyers-almost every new drug is destined to become a new legal cash cow...

I remember antibiotics being given at the drop of a hat when I was a kid-my mom was a naturalist, so that didn’t happen in my family. I followed her example, being a natural living type, too. Docs have finally become more careful with the antibiotics, but it took a long time. I won’t buy feedlot beef or any other factory-farm meat because of the antibiotics and growth hormones-there are plenty of local-source butcher shops nearby with grass fed/free range meat...
