Joe Biden’s fiery delivery of the State of the Union address Thursday night gave rise to speculation the 81-year-old had been given stimulant drugs such as Adderall to prop him up for the night. That speculation was enhanced by a retweet on X Twitter by a senior White House official.
White House Deputy Communications Director Herbie Ziskend retweeted a comment posted during Biden’s speech by New York magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi, “I guess there’s no adderall shortage at the White House.”

Former White House physician Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) commented Thursday during the speech, “Wow! They over medicated him! Angry, confused, and yelling. I think Hunter may be prescribing his drugs now!”
Adderall has a different effect on people who don’t have ADHD vs. those that do.
A friend took her son’s Adderall to see what it was like because he became a zombie when he accidentally took too much.
She said she was extremely nervous, talked so fast people couldn’t understand her and was angry all day.
Does that sound familiar?
So it won't work if we take it? We'll just be spaced out since we don't have ADHD? So how did it work on Joe?
Provigil aka Modafinil is the likely reason for Joe’s ‘animated’ behavior.
My guess is Ritalin, Wellbutrin and meth.
He probably has a cocktail of various drugs, all working together to provide that 2 hour period of semi lucidity.
I hope Trump demands that Biden take a drug test. America should know if the president is under the influence of drugs. Hitler was heavily coked up during WW II. It affected his judgement.
More like the opposite. If you don’t have that diagnosis, it will speed you up big time. It would take a chemist or pharmacist to properly explain why. I don’t qualify, but I have seen the effect on school kids they commonly called ‘hyperactive’ at one time.
I was half-expecting that ole Joetato might drop today.
They can pump him full of joy juice to get through an hour
but the comedown the next day can be the real danger zone.
What makes me think his Jumpin’JackFlash cocktails could be dangerous?
If it didn’t entail significant risk they’d juice him up every day.
Or at least every time he faced the public. They obviously don’t.
Gotcha. That explains Joe Biden during the SOTU. I only watched 5 minutes of it. But I knew that he is not this lucid, typically.
I took Adderall for many years for ADD, and yes, I was diagnosed by a properly trained doctor. I currently take Adderall XR for ADD, and for my cancer-related fatigue.
People with ADD have brains that are wired differently. A person with ADD does not act restlessly or speak rapidly. To the contrary, it helps the person’s brain to slow down just a bit and allows them the better focus..
A person who doesn’t have ADD acts just like Biden did last night.
People with ADD and no co-morbidities are often very talented, brilliant, and very successful people. I personally know a few.
It sounds like someone I know.
She was off it when pregnant and was the sweetest person who I enjoyed interacting with. Going back on it caused a complete personality change, and not a good one. The same kind as your friend.
Saw something today where Biden said he stayed up to 2:00 a.m. after the speech - he was complaining about the FJB memes. But I bet 2 in the morning is wayyyy past his usual bedtime.

The Gold Star father who shouted at Joe Biden last night and was arrested lost his son due to Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
His older son then took his own life on the grave of his brother who was KIA.

Thank you for posting this. That is heartbreaking, I had no idea he had lost his other son as well. I can not even begin to imagine the nightmare this poor man is living.
