Fate of Fani Willis Has Been Decided (23 page ruling)

Judgement Day has finally arrived for Fani Willis.

Judge Scott McAfee, who presided over the Fulton County district attorney's disqualification proceedings, has ruled that Willis must step away from the Trump prosecution or cut ties with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, the private-practice attorney she hired to prosecute former President Donald Trump and with whom she had an undisclosed affair.

Advertisement According to the 23-page ruling, McAfee ordered, "[W]ere the case allowed to proceed unchanged, the prima facie concerns raised by the Defendants would persist. As the District Attorney testified, her relationship with Wade has only 'cemented' after these motions and 'is stronger than ever.' Wade’s patently unpersuasive explanation for the inaccurate interrogatories he submitted in his pending divorce indicates a willingness on his part to wrongly conceal his relationship with the District Attorney."

"As the case moves forward, reasonable members of the public could easily be left to wonder whether the financial exchanges have continued resulting in some form of benefit to the District Attorney, or even whether the romantic relationship has resumed."

"Put differently, an outsider could reasonably think that the District Attorney is not exercising her independent professional judgment totally free of any compromising influences. As long as Wade remains on the case, this unnecessary perception will persist," Merchant continued.

Georgia just passed a law that allows the state to outright remove Willis. Lets see if they use that law.

I consistently overestimate the commitment to honor in people who have pledged to act according to ethical or fiduciary responsibilities.

I’m really sick and tired of judges or those speaking for law enforcement agencies (Justice Dept.) saying “we KNOW BUT” and going on to make excuses for any and all political crimes...remember James Comey on Hillary’s transgressions - that was a “YEAH BUT”, then we saw Tur thinking last week he was giving a clear explanation of his findings on Biden - “YEA BUT”... There wasn’t anything clear about any of those decisions or this one on Fani....

I can’t vote for the judge’s opponent in his upcoming race as I don’t live in that county but it shows me, as a FRiend has told me, I need to PAY ATTENTION to the candidates for ALL OFFICES. I tend to leave unmarked all seats for judges as there’s not enough information on any of them to say “yeah” or “nay”...

Do we have to live our remaining years giving in to “political arguments” and throwing out our common sense ones? Sure looks that way. Leo Terrell and Jonathan Turley were on Harris Faulkner’s show at 11 am (computer shut down as a storm moved through) and they aren’t bashful about calling the decision on Wallis, a political decision...Gosh - don’t we need clear eyed and unbiased decisions and when will it start?

“I consistently overestimate the commitment to honor in people who have pledged to act according to ethical or fiduciary responsibilities.”

I used to be an optimist. But I finally got fed up and tired of constantly being proven to have “overestimated the commitment to honor” among our so-called leaders and legal experts. I know better now.

“Perhaps within this ruling there are statements that will give ammunition to Fani’s disbarment, removal from office.”

Agreed there is murky stuff on the bottom of the political and legal pond. This gives more time to the investigators on the case from congress down to local lawyers, it leaves openings for the defense to appeal, and basically keeps the fraud going until it’s too late for them. The longer this discovery (not the legal one) drags out the more everything about this case becomes public - and in the meantime it gives the other powers that be more time to drag this out. If fat Fani stays on the case she has invited the whole legal nation to investigate her, and should she quit she has admitted fraud. Fani is already a proven liar and no matter which way she goes she is digging in quicksand.

This morning? FOX cable isn’t carrying anything about that - just that it’s being investigated by a Senate panel.

There were some portions of the judge’s ruling read on FOX and by golly - there is a lot that SHOULD have made him decide the opposite of what his decision was. It’s just not logical that so much can be found to be wrong and YET...it’s a closed matter with no results...Sure has me perplexed and questioning everything anymore..

“If appeals are filed, absolutely No Chance this trial gets going before Nov. of 2024...”

Attorney Kenneth Chesebro has already pleaded guilty in the Georgia election interference case involving former President Donald Trump and his allies. His lawyer, Scott Grubman, spoke with CBS News congressional correspondent Nikole Killion about Friday’s ruling that allows District Attorney Fani Willis to stay on the case as long as Nathan Wade steps aside.

Skimming through the 23 page decision, the first thing that hits me is the numbers of case after case after case that were cited to give credence to his decision....it appears to me to be a matter of dazzling the reader with garbage to make them give up. Sure, it’s to show precedence but maybe it’s time to start fresh and to heck with precedence. I started counting the number of cases but my eyes went blurry and I gave up.

What’s the name of the class that’s taught in law school that covers that? I don’t think it’s possible to be in that profession without having learned it. It just doesn’t come natural to NORMAL people.

It’s a lot of “WE KNOW BUT” that I posted earlier...

How about - “I don’t WANT to disqualify her as I don’t want to be called a racist??”

Can we start with honesty? If we get that, integrity is part of the package.

“After consideration of the record established on these motions, the Court finds the allegations and evidence legally insufficient to support a finding of an actual conflict of interest.”

That he can state this with a straight face speaks to the certain condition of his sociopathic personality.

Trump will be a convicted felon in Georgia this summer, and the appeals process will take years to work its way through the system.

Since this a state and not a federal crime, Trump can't pardon him self.

So since Trump won't be able to serve when elected, Congress will elect Biden for a second term .

The Republicans will rightly point this out and push to nominate Haley.

Game, set, match, the Swamp is gambling we won't start CW II to re-elect Trump, and they would be right.

The judge is no doubt a corrupt coward. Having said that I don’t know that Fat Fani staying on the case is a bad thing. She is an incompetent buffoon. She needs to bring in new counsel and could well not win the case if it even goes to trial. Worst case she is a walking mistrial in the back pocket of PDT.

Its time for Trump to get in front of this and show how much he cares for our country by saying he will withdraw his candidacy and give his delegates to DeSantis if he is convicted in Georgia, since the appeals process would take years to play out.

Although offending Trump supporters here is not my intent, it must be said that we put ourselves in this situation by not having a Plan B in place, which should have been keeping DeSantis in the bullpen.

As things stand now its highly likely Nikki Haley will be the Republican candidate if Trump is convicted in Georgia before the convention.

We all know the left has having multiple contingency plans in place to take out Trump, but we have stubbornly ignored their ability to execute, and this may very well cost us or Nation unless we immediately make adjustments which take their threats seriously.

And since 2016 we have failed to consider who will replace Trump after he serves his last term .
The Democrat/Left has a pipeline of candidates ready to go, what do we have ?

You can't order Wade off without explicitly acknowledging that Fani is the other conspirator in this crime.

I hope Judge is happy because McAfee just cost himself higher judicial office. There aren't words to describe how contemptible it is to try and 'split the baby' Solomon-style when both members of this conspiracy obtained the same actus reus and the same mens rea.

It is just shameful that someone as deeply read in the law as McAfee came to not a conclusion but an illusion, an illusion as deeply bred in lies as the defendant herself and her gigilo! How does this satisfy anybody? To the devil with his Order!

In the judges report he blasted Willis for her comments at the church that her opponents were racists.
