Perhaps their insurer doesn’t have to pay death benefits out to his estate from his company paid life insurance policy if they terminated him before he could commit suicide by train.

There’s a commuter rail line that goes through my town that has a long stretch of track that’s unprotected by fences. Anyone can just walk onto the track as a train approaches and...splat.
I worked with a gal whose husband did the same thing. She was our City’s Finance Director, and he was a Middle School teacher. She was quite the looker and he was pretty studly and both were in their early 30’s. The story goes that he had been having affairs with several of the staff and 8th grade girls. When he got busted, the school put him on administrative leave and his cover story to his wife was that he was sick and couldn’t go to work. When the Sheriff’s Deputies arrived to question him about the young girls he went into his bedroom and shot himself.
The train crossing is about a mile from my house. I’m surprised this is national news.

My 10 year old is in gymnastics, there are a group of girls being (14,15,16) being coached by 2 guys, they often use their hands to guide the girls through the moves. Looks to me like an accident waiting to happen.
He must have threatened her to get ger to get in his car a second time.

I also find these details ‘interesting’. He’s accused of raping the girl twice, a month apart in his car. Statutory rape? Fine, as a teacher/coach he should have known better; definitely a predator.

My first thought is that the allegations must have been true.
I couldn’t see that kind of drastic action if they weren’t.

I do not know if the man is innocent or guilty.
I do know we have become a society over invested in guilt by allegations alone.
