I expect Israel will escalate and attack Iranian drone factories along with infrastructure in Iran to teach them a lesson. I would also expect Israel to target any vulnerable (not much) Iranian nuclear facilities.

The US has probably given Israel locations of drone factories that are helping Russia in its war with Ukraine. From a CIA perspective this will be a “two-fer.”

Israel has never confirmed that they have nukes. But I imagine, as most prudent world leaders do, that they do have that capability. And have had them for quite some time.

Well, I’m just glad that Israel pulled out of the southern Gaza two days ago and quit being so mean to Hamas. Instead of Iran attacking with 100 drones it probably would have been much worse. /s

The way attacks generally work is, a long-range weapon(s) is fired. When the weapon is within strike range, additional short-range weapons are fired to deplete the interceptors or jam the radars or just flood the defenses. I would expect that Hezbollah will launch a massive missile and drone strike at exactly the right moment. Several years ago, when I checked, Iron Dome missiles were $45k each. You have to wonder how many they have on hand.

Incidentally, I read years ago that Israel kept a sub on station in the Persian Gulf to retaliate if Iran strikes. I don’t recall if that is confirmed information or if it’s still accurate. The Persian Gulf is a bathtub for a sub. It would be hard to keep a diesel electric sub charged in such a confined, shallow place and Iran does have impressive strike capabilities in the Gulf. They are short range and mostly disposable. But they’d make survival difficult.

Possible scenario: Launch drones to distract, just as they are about to hit launch nuke missiles from a sub or boat offshore. It’s all fun and games until someone tosses a nuke.

This is not good. I just woke up from a nightmare a couple of hours ago where I was in the middle of a big room (about the size of 1/2 basketball court), and it was a mix of Christians and Jews, sitting on the floor, discussing what we would do if we were attacked by terrorist (muzzies, obviously).

All of a sudden, a small group of them broke in and packed us all in the center of the floor, still sitting, and said they didn't care if we were Christians OR Jews.. to them, we were ALL Jews, and then opened a but and threw a bunch of white Yamakas with the star of David on it.

I woke up the terrorists started attacking. My heart was pounding, and I could still feel it pounding an hour later.

I would say that Israel‘s response is going to almost completely depend upon how much, and what else, Iran and its proxies send in Israel’s direction. Let’s not forget who started this entire mess, it was an Iranian proxy that came across the border into Israel, and barbarically murdered about 1200 people (including women, children, and infants) and took about 250 more hostage. They broke the then-existing cease fire, and the only reason there is still combat going on is because they refuse to hand back hostages and stop the hostilities that they started.

Now if THAT happens then we know Iran means business cause sending a bunch of drones that will get shot down by Jordan and others isn’t really much of an attack since the drones take 9 hours to arrive, but Iran has missiles that can arrive in Israel in 12 minutes

Yes...you are correct...supposedly the Shaheed 136 Iranian drones fly at about 115 mph. My incredulity was based on the fact that it would appear idiotic to send such a slow moving target in an attack...by contrast the German v-1 flew at 400 mph...so something else must be afoot...or the mullahs really got their brains in their shorts...
